Half-life 3 better be announced, and I pray its on a completely new engine and not just a super updated source. I can't wait any longer!!! OH:
^^ Wait, Wat? I'd honestly be surprised if Nintendo announced a Wii successor this year, but it would certainly be cool. Anyway, here's my list for Nintendo: -PIKMIN 3 (ideally for 3DS) -Super Mario 3DS -Skyward Sword -New ORIGINAL 3DS titles Sony: -NGP info -FF Agito XIII as an NGP launch title (maybe why it got held back so long?) -Mainline FF title coming to NGP (like DQIX on DS) -New Tourist Trophy game for PS3!!! I loved the first one, totally underrated. Microsoft: -IDGAF (I just don't own one, I'm sure they're swell) Honestly, what I really want more than anything is surprises. New original titles, new franchises, and interesting hardware. I'll probably be disappointed.
Oh nothing, just that the Wii2 isn't up to next-gen standard.. Yet another letdown and disappointment by Nintendo as it struggles to make ends meet..
Besides the NGP I'm not expecting much, the usual crap, some good sequels (GoW3) nothing much really. I wouldnt bet on any nextgen consoles making an appearance, hell I dont expect companies to even acknowledge those are in the way as they dont seem to be in a rush to take a hit and sell expensive hardware at a loss when sales are up. EDIT: while Valve announcing HL3 (or at least the damn 4-years-in-the-making EP3) would change everything, my hopes of seeing that one are at an all time low. Their booth will probably be all about Portal2, Steam on android (they were talking about that) and maybe another L4D game. Man how I wish I was wrong...
I do agree with you, but at this point i'm more interested that PD keeps working on GT5. Fixing little bugs, adding classic tracks and more A-Spec events.
Borderlands 2 would also be pretty cool to see. I also wouldn't mind another Grand Theft Auto. But a US release of 'Last Story' and 'Lost Odyssey 2' (haha, yeah right, in my wildest dreams) would be the best.
I've lived within driving distance of E3 my entire life, just never had "press" credentials to be able to get in. That said I have no idea what I'm looking forward to as lately I've been looking to the past for cheap entertainment. Also can't afford $50 per game so getting excited over what I can't possible afford in the near future is a bad idea for me unfortunately. Sad panda.
APE, if only you could get your hands on a really good fake press pass, just think of all those freebies EDIT: I read somewhere that one could buy their pass but @ $400 I'm not too sure however having said that since Naughty Dog will be there I'd pay it, if I only lived a driving distance such as yourself APE (very lucky indeed)!
I would die. I would literally fall over dead from happiness if Lost Odyssey 2 was announced for the Xbox360 (as MS owns the license). I know this will never happen, and this is part of the reason I'm not such a big MS fan anymore. They'd rather keep peddling Wii Sports clones than have a real game made.
Sadly most of the info that will be shown at E3 to press, has already been sent out to developers months and months ahead
^^ With that in mind, I'm amazed there aren't more leaks, given how easy it is to anonymously leak things these days. I actually hadn't had my hopes up about a Wii2 announcement until I started reading your posts in this thread, lol. I was figuring they'd wait until TGS, or even later.
Bully/Canis Canem Edit 2. And I'm not talking about the PC version being released months later glitchy as shit due to being an after thought and ported as quickly as possible. I want the PC version at the same time as the console versions and working perfectly.
Hope to announce god of war 4 in E3. PSM said gow4 is in development. Hope it is real and there is a trailer in E3.
3 console and 2 portable games, and you still want more God of War? That's a franchise with less evolution than the pokemon series
