I sold that one in an auction a couple of weeks ago and the Buyer didn't pay so I relisted it, but once it was relisted it his payment came through so I pulled it and mailed it off to him.

That hotel unit is just amazing. I placed a bid on it to get the ball rolling for you. I know it won't sell for the price but since I'm in Japan I kind of need to make sure I don't win it...heh. I didn't realize there was a reserve until after I placed the bid...DOH!

Nah, if I ever did win anything like that I'd just have it shipped to a buddy in the US.

Ebay prices are rock bottom right now and it's not worth selling anything at the moment, it's a recession.

I could list things for what they are really worth, but I would lose a ton on the fees.

I probably just had my most successful round of auctions recently. Some of the prices were crazy. Even a laserdisc player that I estimated would sell for $850 sold for $1,300. Most of the itmes I had in my eBay store sold in auction for a higher price than I had in my store. Really strange...

Remember that the Europeans are buying everything in US dollars so it's like it's all on sale.... Some of the stuff I sell is heavy and expensive to ship but since they're paying US dollars for that as well it's yet another discount for them.

If you are selling then offer worldwide shipping. Maybe just selling to US buyers only will bring you some price grief...

Maybe you could help me, since you seem to know stuff about LD Players.
How much does sell those days a SONY HIL-C2EX player? I remember much more than a S9, but maybe i'm wrong?

This is the Sony HD LD version of the X0/X9 Pionner HD LD Players, able to read High Definition LDs,Muse..
But i was wondering of both (Sony&Pioneer) can upscale old LDs to 1080i on HD LCD TVs?

    Thanks

    Hey Adol

Someone else can probably answer your question better since I've never dealt with HiVision laserdisc players. I don't have the equipment to check them out so the S9 is the highest I've gone. Just from experience on message boards and talking to others, Sony is pretty far behind Pioneer in terms of reputation. The non-HD S9 sells for higher than any Sony HD player that I've seen, but then again I don't buy or research Sony so I can't speak for all of the players. Panasonic also offers their own model but I've never own that one, either.

Sorry I don't have better information for you.
