That's wonderful. Glad to know people are kind and have a heart... sometimes you forget about that when everyones grabbing, but a project which consumes that much of a mans time goes to a charity is wonderful... I wish I had an extra 20k for it Well worth every penny.

No hard drive, no outer case, broken plastic front plate and COPIES of the software, and it's still worth $325? Have these become that rare?

 

I was thinking the same thing. I think it might be a 5.23 set, so that makes it a little rarer than the 5.24 set, but the condition is very poor and cancels that out :-(. Note the picture of the back of the unit and the mismatched screws.

I never understood how the case cover gets lost on these units.

If you really need one, cost probably isn't a concern, otherwise I'd wait on this one. Hopefully whoever gets it can give it the attention it needs.

 

One in worse condition than this just sold in UK for £180 !

I got a boxed Japanese Dreamcast console and Under Defeat, Chaosfield, Trigger Heart Exelcia, Karous and Capcom vs SNK for sale on ebay. Ends in 7 days.

The Dreamcast is of the variety that does not need a boot disc for homebrew etc and will also have a disc of Ikaruga thrown in as I have no use for it anymore.

Interesting that it states "This is not just a shell, it has everything inside it" - I think we know that it doesn't.... It's an empty case with a mock DVD, 2 mock PCB and the metal casings. Can't remember off the top of my head whether the fans were included. Anyway, anyone thinking otherwise should note the seller is talking shite!
