Never seen or heard about it. Might be like the Simpsons unit and released to promote the film. Poor image quality, but from what I can see the actual product looks very good. Perhaps contact the seller and ask where the competition was posted in the first place (how he came by it) and check authenticity. All of these competitions come with paperwork he might still have.

Is that genuine Sony PS repair bench hardware? It looks like something Heath Robinson put together with some help from Blue Peter presenters! Either that or it's the 1960's NASA countdown module!

Blimey! The hardware version of what Microsoft built into their Xbox debug kits.

I hear it will also toast bread.... ;-)

    Microsoft Xbox (v1) Kiosk (Germany)

A cheap PAL Xbox kiosk. Note the screen looks like my old one. The Thomson TV's they used have a tendency to end up dull, all green and the image fades. It looks exactly as my old screen did prior to replacing it with a Philips TFT.

Still, someone in Germany should have a go! Cheap otherwise!

Same seller is also selling off a Dreamcast Kiosk, plus has another lurking in the background so might negotiate! ;-)

I don't know anything other than whats in the description. I'm tempted to say its 3rd party due to the styling of it as most of their dev tools don't look that utilitarian, but I guess it might have been used inhouse?

I also like the fact it is "[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"USED" but NEVER USED"

With a LOT of effort they do come apart in several more manageable pieces. Get better information on that screen, because if it is dying you really could save a lot of time by ditching it. If his photographs are the issue then you should get him to take better images.

I probably still have a 3rd party remote control for that TV as I bought one thinking all I needed to do was fiddle with the contrast etc. However, the tube was humped and a TFT is easier to deal with.

Also you need the key! It's a little orange one. IF he no longer has it and the cabinet is locked then I know the lock can be cracked (as I have had to do it).

The images I saw look almost exactly like the images of my old screen. It is not meant to be THAT green! It is not meant to be that dull. You should have hints of yellow and red in there.

One minor point as well, the right hand Duke is missing it's memory card cover. The kiosk controllers wouldn't allow a memory card to be used with them and also it acts to protect the back of the controller. Either that is a replacement or they've damaged it hauling it off. So, be prepared to replace one Duke. I actually retired mine and stuck on S controllers as I am with the Japanese on this one. My hands are not paddles!

What's wrong with loading up a game? Like PES / WE and testing out all the buttons and controls on that? :110:

I hope it toasts bread, go with the boiled egg that the 360 makes.
