    i bought the Faceplate back then when xbox 360 was launch. Cost me 90bucks.. I sold it off to this faceplate collector 3 weeks after i got it. Sold it for 450USD. There are ppl willing to pay for this stuff man.lol.

    But its insane!

    'Thanks for playing with us: Launch Team 2005' is the UK launch team one. Devs of launch titles got that one, people who did hardware/firmware/software for the launch in the States got the I MADE THIS one.

    I don't get it. I had 8-10 prototype faceplates (including a Disney Pirates) for sale $200 for the lot and no one wanted those.

    Worse still, I checked the price and the exchange rate from $ / £ and I suddenly realised just how shit things are for the £. Parity with the Euro and we are getting far fewer $. Best buy British for a while :-(

    Microsoft Xbox European launch kiosk (UK)

    I am selling off the Xbox display unit (yep, this is mine) as I am freeing up space for another arcade cabinet.

    It's a LOOOOONNNNGGGGG shot that anyone on AG would be remotely interested due to the unit being located in Scotland, but you never know. It is collection only, unless you are willing to arrange a courier.

    The auction doesn't start until 8pm, Wednesday 31st 2008. It will run for 3 days. Starts at £50.00 with £100.00 BIN.

    Comes with fully functional PAL Xbox and 2 x controllers (plus I'll throw in the original 2 x Dukes).

    The only downside is that it comes with NO monitor as the Thompson TV was non-functional when it arrived and displaying in green only!

    So, you will have to obtain a second-hand TV. I actually have a Philips TFT that fits it perfectly, but that cost £250.00 and I would need a serious offer on the pair...

    Anyway, I doubt anyone here will be interested, but who knows!
