I love that artwork SO much! It looks super sexy. My stick and buttons should be coming in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday. I can finally start putting my stick together.

    EDIT: sorry, off topic...

It certainly went for a decent amount - $1,100.00

As a laserdisc & gaming hardware collecter, I was watching the auction with some interest - but a grand was more than I can afford, given you'd need the associated control unit & some software for the complete deal.

One of these did appear on ebay sometime back (according to this link) - anyone know what that eventually went for? Just curious.

think you might go into more details in the mod forum? Can you do a custom graphic?

Nightstalker, it's a mate of mine as well. Local to me and a really decent guy.

Frankly, I am deeply saddened by his rash decision to sell off his collection, especially taking the bloody eBay route.

The collection is vast, worth more than he's going to get on eBay and the fees for all those images etc is painful

Personally, I am perplexed, but understand when someone wants to sell up. I did precisely the same thing, however took the personal acquaintances, thread, forums and trades route.

Anyone wishing to bid on this is sure to be getting an amazing collection from a very good geezer. He is totally genuine and you'll get a really huge deal.

However, I am not wishing to encourage his auction and refuse to post the link (not that it makes any difference now lol). I will however endorse the seller. One of the nicest guys on the 'cade scene.

reminds me of a friend who sold everything off, just to get into gaming again 5 years later and buying everything again.

Remind me of me! I know he'll regret it, especially when he sees the fees from eBay!

I've been wondering when this auction would show up. Not to bid, just out of curiosity.

When he said he was taking loads of photographs, he wasn't joking... No wonder it took him so long to get it listed.

So much time and effort in creating such a good collection to all go for probably a small % of what it cost to create it :-(
