    So did anyone get their unit? lol.

    Alpha ps3 hardware doesn't show up that often. The fact that he had two...

    all the chairs makes me think it was a dev conference, I mean look at the switch it's so damn old.

    Might want to mention that it DOESN'T WORK. ;)

    Also, there's no mention of the set version. Since it's in a Katana case, it may not be a set 5.24.

    Well, it might work fine and the dip switches are just set to the wrong video output. Corn, try setting the
    rotatary dial to 4. For the slide switch, move it to the left. For the dip switches, set all of them off (down) for composite or only the first one up for RGB / VGA output. If you see the swirl animation (takes a few seconds for it to start), the unit is likely working. If it gets to the system screen and you can't boot a game, it's most likely in emulation mode. If you're still getting a black screen, the firmware may need to be flashed again.

    As for the version, check the bottom of the unit.
