Here's more info about him:

    He's 22 years old
    Home: Near Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK
Occupation: Student on and off.. (two years ago)

He used to run a website on a modded Xbox:

    http://web.archive.org/web/20050204231854/http://pyro-steve.mine.nu/infromation.html

So he's definitely into the Xbox-mod scene...

Technically though, everything he is selling is Development hardware... Stuff _HE_ developed and used to develop his website, etc...

He never did say it was used by any game developers or anything...

That isn't a Marlin, at least it doesn't look anything like mine. And that is definitely not the cable for a Marlin.

    It's all junk!!!

...That auction is so wrong :-(

...The only thing that would of been any good would of been the label printer, that sadly got used too much in this case

Come to think of it wasn`t he here? as I am sure I bought a AGCG NR Disk from him some time ago?

    It was

    PYRO

    User ID

ACDC NR Disk - which we could never get the details of what was on it

Wouldn`t worry about it as can use any excuse

Also I am sure it used to show somewhere on your feedback what/when you had withdrawn bids, but can`t see it now

Just replied to his reply asking about pictures of the base of the units and he was a little vague

I said I know you from ASSEMbler..............wonder what he will reply.............will he coming looking back here or go running?

    His reply

"Hi Alan, I think you may be correct :) small world! Thanks, Steve Northam"

    Still no pictures

Will have to take one of the back of mine....oh shit in the loft/attic and see what he says!

back onto the fake ebay lot, ive just been emailed by the seller as i originally asked for a buy it now price, he replied back with this

'Hi, as there is alot of people watching this and serveral people have asked for buyitnow's I think the best option is to bid as much as your willing and then you may end up winning it none the less :) Thanks, Steven Northam'

so i replied back with this

    '
    Hi Steven,

It has since come to my attention that all of the items you have to offer are fake, and not actually development consoles at all, im not sure if you are aware of this yourself, so heres what ive found out from looking at the pictures on the auction, the xbox's are clearly fake, as the crystal is simply a mod chipped console and the other 2 cases have simply had stickers put on them, and are not in anyway official dev units, as for the gamecubes, again these are clearly fake as official nintendo dev units were never made in the indigo colour that you have shown

So due to this i shall not be bidding on the auction, but good luck selling, and if you did buy this thinking it was genuine development items i suggest you contact the original seller as they have sold you fraudulent items

    Regards

    Andy'

Will be interesting to see his response (if any) to that.

Hi Alan, I have had to pull the auction as too many people seem to think these are official development units etc so I will amend the description properly and relist it all soon. As you were the high bidder I thought I would let you know. Thanks, Steven Northam
