This really makes me laugh! I volunteer at the charity and after a few years being volunteer(I decided to volunteer once I was 18 because that's the final age of which you can be a member).. I wanted to give something back to the club so I decided to fundraise for them. Most items are donated from video game companies from all around the world.. UK, USA, Japan, etc etc.. Some items are my own and I post them off to various companies/individuals so they can be signed and then sold for the charity.

I don't earn a penny from what I do and I would never expect to. I am actually currently unemployed, I do this in my spare time and I really enjoy it.

I really don't list items that often compared to other ebayers that sell for charity. I always have enough items to auction off and keep myself going. I auction 1 item every 5 days to make sure I don't get to a point where I have nothing to auction. I only stop in December because that's when christmas comes around and I don't want that to affect the final selling price of my items.

100% of the money goes to the charity(Worthing Boy's Club) ... Happy? ^_^

9Matt2's auctions use the eBay for Charity system - you can read all about it via the link on his page, and it tells you how much of the profits go to the charity.

Please remember that this thread is for sharing eBay links and discussing them. As it is proved on the page that the auction is for charity, this isn't really open to discussion in this thread.

That said... 9Matt2, whilst it is great that you are supporting a good cause that you believe in within your community, you have to understand that the reason people get a little shirty with you sometimes is that over half of your posts to date have been regarding your sales in some way. Whilst you are of course free to advertise eBay sales in the eBay sales thread (and it's nice to see you had a change of heart after your attitude when you weren't allowed a thread of your own), you might find you're more respected if you try to contribute in some general gaming discussions here, too.

Anyway, back to eBay items, people! ;)

There's more to it as well, he has sold data released by Borman for free and gained profit. Regardless it being for charity it was still like selling free software, it's dodgy.

Yet you are ignoring the fact he tried to sell them himself? And since the person who worked on the game had no problem signing my beta copy.. then there is no problem imo. Since it's his game.. ^_^

He wasn't selling it, it was a fundraiser to release it for free for everyone. It cost him thousands to get the beta, and you burning it to a disc and selling it is like downloading free software and charging people for it.
If you don't understand any this, you must be pretty thick. I like what you do for charity, but at least do it right and fairly.

The president of the United States can be okay with it too, but it doesnt change the fact that it is against the rules. You wouldnt have had anything to sell if not for me getting the games out there while losing almost $1000 and taking a legal notice from Microsoft. Im sure they would love to hear about you selling copies of their games though.Like I said, you could have had Chris sign just about anything, but you chose to use a copy of software for whatever reason, thinking it would get you more money Im sure.

Borman, how about we rob his house and then get people to sign his items then sell them online? Because the people who signed them were ok with it.

    Nevermind he's gone now...

After looking at that auction, I forgot just how small the NDS screen was.

Yeah pathetically smaller. One more reason why the psp did better in handheld races back then.

Considering it being from Japan. Japanese sellers can be very brief with listings I've noticed.
