    Thanks very much for the information on the competition systems. I agree they are probably all 3rd party paint jobs, some more professional than others. With respect to the documentation, I agree there probably wouldn't be any MS documentation for the competition systems. The type of documentation that I asked the seller for was a bit different. I asked the seller for any one of the following items: (a) winners notification letter; (2) skill testing question form; (3) taxable winnings form; (4) prize redemption confirmation; or (5) contest entry form/winning ticket. Depending on the companies state of domicile and the winners home state, one or more of the items listed above may be required by law in the USA. Thanks to my work, I have some experience with contest regulations and I was banking on the fact that New Zealand had similar contest/lottery regulations. I didn't have enough time to research the local laws and since the seller said he had none of it I didn't bother pushing the issue further. I still want it, but I typically place a higher value for items with provence.

    I've never met the #1 Xbox guy/girl before, so I can't comment about the personality traits. However, I do understand the frustration of watching someone else buy the items that I want. Maybe we can reach out to him/her and draw them into the community. After all, we are all private collectors, unless someone here happens to have a company with a 501(c) designation. Unless this guy/girl is a complete *@! they would probably be a welcome addition to the community. Just my two cents.

    By all means I encourage everyone to share their findings, otherwise twisted stories will happen and we'll never get anything right. That's the reason why private collecting isn't fair to everyone else. Freedom of information is important.
