    In all honesty is there any real value to Rental discs or is it just for the novelty factor of the alternate packaging? I only ask because a spare PSX I picked up a few weeks ago came with a few and I binned all but one because they were marked or scratched.

    From a collectors standpoint they have value, like promo copies that came in jewel cases, even though the data might be identical with retail copies it's still an alternate packaging of the game. If you just want a copy of the game to play then they aren't really anything but if you want to collect all the versions of pressings of a particular game or just have an interest in games for a particular console then they're interesting.

    I normally get promo`s as they are a rarer than retail versions and generally cheaper as well

    Some rental versions have different difficulty settings to the retail games.

    You've just joined here, your ebay listing is basically non-existent, you've got only a single picture up and your ebay feedback is a miserable 3.
    Not saying that you're item doesn't exist or whatnot, but you could spend an extra 5 minutes by putting up more info and more pictures and testing and I'm pretty sure people might be more interested.
