They aren't worth that much. They are worth $300-$400. It would only be worth more if there was an early beta game or unreleased game on it.

I think something about that DVT-4 was fishy! The bids were from mainly 2 people that kept bidding all the other people up. I really think it was the seller bidding his own item up to inflate it. Then after the sale they would send a second chance offer for the real high bidder. Plus he had it listed with a 500 gig drive and the seals were fully intact. So that 500 gig drive is impossible. Plus the DVT-4 is like the debug unit and has the 137 gig barrier. So how would he know the drive was 500 gigs when it was still sealed? That unit is not worth 850 dollars! 400 USD more around what it is worth.

Now about the DVD bezel. I have seen 1 other with that bezel before also. It was not a prototype console and the manufacture date was in 2003. Maybe the non prototype models had that bezel? Does anyone have a late production DVT-4 that is not a prototype model?

We've chucked a bunch of old computer stuff on eBay, all from a business environment, things like joblots of switches etc. some are ending today, some end in a few days, you catch my drift, just take a look and see if we have anything you want. All was working when taken out of service, and was either just recently taken out of service or taken out a few months back and then stored in a cupboard.

Unlicensed Metal Slug (aka Terrifying 9/11) for Gameboy Color * Port of Metal Slug 1

    Helle everyone!

As I was looking for this Gameboy Color port of the first Metal Slug game by myself
    (http://www.assemblergames.com/forum...lug)-for-Gameboy-Color-50-shipping-to-Germany),
I wanted to let you know that I have imported a lot of 10 pieces from China!

Here is my ebay auction: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221388650413#ht_2682wt_922

The game is a straight port of the first Metal Slug game and is even better than the Neo Geo Pocket version.
The visuals a phantastic for a Gameboy Color game and the gameplay is also great!

I can really recommend this Gameboy Color version of Metal Slug.

    Stefan

PS: The game is for Gameboy Color only and does not work on the original b/w Gameboy.

If you ship worldwide, you should change your auctions to allow it to be viewed in other countries...
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/221388650413
Shows an invalid auction listing, which means you've limited the auction to be viewable in the UK only (on co.uk).

Unlicensed Metal Slug (aka Terrifying 9/11) for Gameboy Color * Port of Metal Slug 1

    Just use this link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221388650413#ht_2682wt_922
You should be able to log in and buy the game!

If you have some friends you can save money as shipping to the USA will always be US$ 15.90.
No matter if you buy only 1 game or e.g. 5 games...

Please let me know if you have any problems.

Yeah, I know I can click on that link, if I know the link exists... But unless you are only trying to sell it in the UK or to us Assembler members, no one else in the eBay world can see it. (I.e., if I log into ebay.com, and do a search for it, I'll never find it. Actually, I can't seem to find it by searching on ebay.co.uk either, only on ebay.de does it show up in searches... That's kind of weird.)

And, there's no easy way to see how much it costs in my currency (that's the main reason I always view eBay auction on the US site, so I can see instantly how much it costs).

It's just more convenient, and a lot more people will see it...

In Denmark it does, lots of services are crazy expensive here, due to, IMO, way too high salaries for rather mondane jobs.
A postman can easily make 6500USD a month here, even more if he drives big trucks. So naturally that cost is tranferred to the customer.

I don't like the fact more than you do, beacuse it makes my auctions way less attractive, but what can I do about it? Nothing.
