Not as high as this guy. He lists it as new-other, says it's like new, and the pictures show it's clearly not.

Yours for a absolute bargain at $450 BIN plus $80 shipping.

    I've recently opened a WTB thread for a Debug PS1 (Europe/France) and I found :

    1rst try :
    130327_DTL_H1102[allmustgochris]_SOLD1.JPG

    2nd try :
    130404_DTL_H1102[allmustgochris]_SOLD2.JPG

has been relisted today (!!!) :
    130405_DTL_H1102[allmustgochris]_SALE.JPG

This seller also sold a DTL-H1001 & DTL-H1202 units... with no feedback at the moment (!)...
What should I think looking at this ?

I think I might have a question. Where's the picture at and why is it so much?

Sometimes people are plain stupid with their prices. These are very rare, but why pay over 500 dollars total for one of these?

    Hey PS2toolFan,
I suppose sometimes people ask too much money for an item (I'm looking for a Debug PS1 as you may look for a Debug XBOX) but at the end, this one is honnest enough to start with the price he wants... I can't say if the price is too high or ?... but it seems veeery expensive, I still wonder who can afford spending all that money with this !

How about "Do I really want to buy a DTL-H110x series debug console with no PSU"? Those models had an external power brick that converted the mains supply to 12V to operate a DC/DC converter that's built in where the power supply normally is - and from the description that appears to be missing - which would also make it rather hard to test.

@ TriMesh : You're right, that model has an external PSU. I suppose this was to fix the overheat issues the DTL-H100x had ? I would need to double check but I think I read somewhere that you can also use a PS One (the latest slim model) PSU. I posted a WTB thread about buying a Debug PS1 a couple of weeks ago and I must say that I had many very usefull advices from members here !
The most surprising thing is that seller listed several Debug PS1 in a short period, all were sold but at the end he has no feedback at the moment. The DTL-H1102 is now listed for the third time with the same account (but maybe he had 3 of them ???). A DTL-H1202 were also sold :
    130327_DTL_H1202[allmustgochris].JPG
And if you have a look at eBay.co.uk, you'll find :
    130407_DTL-H1202[clearouttheclutter]_[allmustgochris].JPG
allmustgo... clearouttheclutter... That sounds very similar, I've got a huge doubt... I usually trust UK people but... not this time !

I kindly understand you, but the system works. It's not rare, i seen one working in Spain, but no shipping to US. That one was so low on prices, I'd guess Yakumo could get it with all his money hell that he has sadly has had.

12 volt battery is the obvious thing to get.

Yeah, I think the idea was that putting the PSU outside would reduce heating - but it didn't make much difference really because the problem was the material that the CD drive sled was made form, and not that the units were getting too hot. Maybe the PSone PSU would work, but I seem to remember that they were 7.5V and not the 12V that those debugs used - and since it's a switching DC/DC converter this would result in it taking a lot of current, if it worked at all. I also seem to remember that the power plug on the debugger was one of those Sony specific things with a very small center pin - like the ones used on the VAIO laptops.

Yeah, I have to admit that those listings look a little strange - It would make me a bit nervous...

I also noticed that power was decreased between DTL-H1002 (17W) and DTL-H1202 (12W), but maybe with no relationship with overheat issues ?... Thanks for the tip about plugs, need to make sure before buying !

Very rare? No they are not. Rare on eBay, but pretty common if you know where to look.

Those ps2 games, none are rare. If i wanted i could go to gamestop, buy all those in a bargain bin for a total of around $100, then the ps1 games on ebay for around $50 total. Idiots.
