Wow. Have you reported the jerk to eBay?

There's no option to report a stolen image, only unless it's from one of your listings.

I just reported the listing as fraudulent, but unable to state a reason.

If only he were hot-linking to your original image. Then the only question you'd have to ask yourself is how many penises and from what animals to put in the replacement image.

I figured eBay would have an option for that. You could always try asking the seller to remove your images or at the very least give you credit in the description. They probably won't but you never know, maybe they would apologize and add their own pics.

EDIT: Just saw FireAza's post and lol'd. You should totally do that if they link it but I'm not sure if it would go against the forum's policies or not.

I wouldn't bother since I don't want the seller to know who I am exactly. It's from my YouTube thumbnail but with eBay they could easily get my contact details.

I guess it isn't worth it to go after them then. You could always call them out on YouTube like Pat the NES Punk does to certain eBay sellers in his podcast.

It was most definitely intentional!? Why would you ever need to use a picture from the internet of an item that you supposedly own and are selling? You wouldn't. In this day and age I highly doubt that the seller doesn't have access to some sort of camera.

Can't list right, don't sell. It's happened to many people on this forum, most things Xbox related Borman, Moontar and my photos show up. People always steal them, though really I don't care so much. If the item is completely different condition or doesn't come with the box at all then they'll get burned for it.

It's only bad if a listing takes your listing's photo.

What these fuckwits forget, is that eBay offers stock photos. That's what they should be using instead of grabbing whatever off the internet. The usual excuse "mine is the same" is stupid.

It's not like people buy it based on the condition or anything, pffffft.

Also, about the actual thing you got, is the big box just a regular Xbox box with a slipcover?

I removed the controversial line of text in my previous post because I feel like I offended people. I apologize if I did offend anybody. I didn't mean it like that. I have never sold anything online before so I had no idea eBay has stock photos. Stealing photos is wrong and that seller should get punished for it. It's never a good idea to buy from someone who steals images off of the Internet. Those "sellers" aren't trustworthy. Karma will get this seller eventually.

No it's an actual box with another box glued to the side.

This is why you watermark your images.

    http://pics.ebay.com/aw/pics/pdf/us/help/community/NOCI1.pdf

Fill out, send to vero@ebay.com - reason code 4.2. I'd state the date you posted it (obviously viewable on the link you'll give, but still state it)... e.g. Works infringed: my photograph of my item, posted online 1/4/2005.

A seller can't get your details from eBay unless you bought something from them. And you're informed they requested them, and given theirs.

    Look at this douchebag go:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-25 at 8.44.09 PM.jpg

Even though the price is not THAT high compared to other xxx wholes (just twice the retail price) what pisses my off is how he hoarded all of these.

If they have a PO box, they basically have my info, and I don't get theirs. Anyway, the people buying from that seller will get burned. It's got nothing to do with me there, and I'd rather not get involved.
There's a few bids on it now, probably thinking they'll get that box.

It's not rare yet one seller wants 30x what other seller is charging.
