Funny thing is that seems to be a lower price point than the norm.

Wow people are selling their PS4's with P.T. on it =.= I didn't think it would that fast that people would react to it, and what is even more sad is that someone paid that many GBP. It is almost like the the time people went crazy for flappy bird

For those of you who are sega saturn collectors I think you will find a kick in this. I know I did because it is clearly not true that the jpn release of this game is expensive. You be the judge =P

At least I'm not the only one who thought of that.

Are there any JPN Saturn games that are rarer than their US counterparts? I mean, there are probably games that are cheaper, just because shipping from the Far East is a pain, but rarer?

To be honest...not really. The only few games I can sort of think that may have increased a tad bit is Azel Panzer Dragoon(saga in US), Burning Rangers, and Astal. There is a saturn game that is quite hard to find, but the only issue is that it was never released in the US, but PAL. That game being Wipeout XL. While it was released on the PS1 in NA, however, most don't know that there is a saturn version of it. It is all in english too which is the even funnier thing. Other than that for US saturn collectors it is the RPGs that are very sought after, and some of the platformers(a la Astal). Jpn it has always been the arcade ports(ex: Liquid Kids, Batsugun, Radiant silvergun(even though it is an earthbound for the jp saturn), hyper duel, and such)

A better example of the JPN ver. being more expensive than its US counterpart would be Ninja Spirit for the TG16. I have seen the US ver. much cheaper than the JPN game, which is funny because most of the time it is the other way around. Hope this sort of answers your question.

The reason I say that it is ridiculous for the eBay pic is because he only includes the game. There is no case, manual, spine card or anything of the such. The game could be pretty much bought complete for like 8-20 bucks(spine or no spine). That is why I find that seller ridiculous. Hopefully no one buys into it =.=

Wait, Burning Rangers is a hard to find Japanese game? I know it's almost impossible for a US copy to be under $150.

Anyway, I think we talked about this guy before, but I've been sitting on this screen capture for almost a month, so...

    1) The Super Famicom isn't rare.
    2) That's the ugliest SFC or SNES I've ever seen.
    Ever.

yeah that guy always posts very ugly consoles, and it is quite crazy how he tries to get away with it. Also I don't mean rare in the sense of rarity, but it has just increased over the time. I use to see the game for like 5-10 usd and I mean 100% with spinecard, mini cd, and all that. Now I have seen the game go for like 30-40 some odd dollars which is quite crazy increase from the time I have been collecting saturn stuff. I think it is because people are just going for the jpn ver because the US/PAL editions are so expensive, so thus JPN ver are getting more expensive which has happened with a lot of games over time. Another great example is little samson/lickle. Lickle was stupid cheap, now its quite expensive.

Even at 10 bucks it's still not worth it after you factor in shipping which would be around 20,then if you wanted to retrobright it add another 10.

Eh, cheaper than eBay. I generally tend to sell bad looking ones in lots of 3 or 4 at auction anyway.

He probably does. That, or he purposely destroys them for no reason.

My Famicom is in MUCH better condition with very slight yellowing. I got mine from a seller here in Florida.

Yes the version with the box (I believe only 20 were made) is rare but not $10,000 rare. On tp of $10,000, you got to pay for shipping too!!!

Wow, $5.75 for shipping? That's insane!

On a serious note, I've never heard of this game before. What's it like?

About the same as other platform like SNES. A GBA unit and EotB GBA could be bought for like $50 at the most, $10k is crazy.

Don't forget about import charges if this thing get's picked up by customs, that will set you back another couple grand at least.

But I suppose if you can spend $10,000 on 1 game then another 2k won't hurt.

The only game I'd spend that much on is a sealed Minotaur: Labyrinths of Crete or Operation Desert Storm :p
