Ebay nuked my account for selling a 15 year old system with
    a region mod.

Let's just say I won't be using ebay anymore.
I've been meaning to move to amazon anyway.

I can't even go in to ship what was bought to the seller!
I can't even give a refund. Fucking ebay.

That's lame love how ebay removes that, but lets other things just slide by their eyes

I don't blame you man, its pretty pathetic all the modded consoles that slip through but one region modded Saturn gets hit!

Also could you check my pm when you get a chance.. thanks

I like selling on amazon a bit more than eBay, due to a lot of scammers that have won auctions and eBay did NOTHING to help me

All I can think of is that someone has a vendetta against you and reported it to ebay. That is still really freaking stupid. Sorry to hear.

EBay locked my account as well but what the fuck for I don't know as they won't tell me. Just as well I don't use them. Bunch of wankers if you ask me.

What happened was I asked for clarification on the item being pulled and the SOB suspended me for asking?

"I was clearly infringing on the the rights of the copyright holder"

I think the video game community needs to start moving to Gaming Gavel. It'd be nice if that was the main place that everyone knew to go to. eBay's just got too many problems these days :(

I saw that item... this morning? Wasn't some sort of disclaimer on the description? Don't remember what that was.

It seems odd that it would be even noticed. I could understand the manufacturer being pissed about one of their products being on there, modded, but... Sega? No way. Must have been an individual? Unless eBay is really THAT on-top of things.

I have been kicked in the past for selling NES consoles with a region mod.

Edit: Did I mention I actually found out that it was a jealous fellow NES seller who saw me as competition who dobbed me in?

I hate the monopoly position ebay currently holds.. It allows them to do all kinds of crap they wouldn't get away with if we had other options.

Yeah Ebay can be fucked up sometimes. But I still like to use it but am more cautious than I used to be years ago.

I've been scammed out of things bought and Things sold. But it can happen with any service and so being more cautious has tightened things for me. Haven't had an issue in a few years now.

Kev and Yak both suspended?! Seems dubious to me.

Ebay has been rubbish for a long time now. Sellers can't leave negative feedback, the fees are way too high and I hate the 'you have nowhere else to sell your shit so do as we say' attitude.

    Blessing in disguise anyway mate

When I asked for the reason they just said "We have issues with your account" Fuck'em. I don't need EBay anyway since I have the fantastic Yahoo Auctions. Now that's a site that while not perfect is very good. Maybe I'll check out Amazon for selling or buying from the west. They're cool as a normal retailer so fingers crossed.
