    A timer restricts the amount of the game that you can play.

    It's certainly something for collector interest, but game code is going to be the same as the retail version (aside from the aforementioned timer).

    FWIW, the seller did overhype himself a bit as this is far from the first cartridge demo that Nintendo has ever produced. :)

    While cart demos are NOT common, they have certainly been made before.

    I was about to post the same link... :p

    wouldn't it be easier to take xbox shell to the place where you can get the vehicle's emblem gold coated? Sure that will be much more professional - not sure on the cost though... :p

    personally I'd rather have xbox shell dipped into chrome...

    ...It's not scratched, it's Gold Leaf thats been applied to the console, not Gold paint, Gold Leaf has a 'natural' crinkle finish, depending on how good you are at applying it.
