enough about the unreleased, how about the released betas/prototypes?

Is it a Bomberman game or a Bomberman-like game? Missile Fighter was never released fo the PC-Engine, and I would love to see that fucker. I should still have some charma coming my way for Angels 2 Holy Night and Silky Lip.

Kind of debatable whether that's actually what it was, it may well have become that but I doubt it was designed on Megadrive as a test for a 32X game. Fact is we'll never know.

about the PC Engine Bomberman, I think its that demo of Bomberman 94, which only had the multiplayer mode. Still cool

Thanks for the MK3 scan. Since you guys would know, is the Master System version of Street Fighter 2 originally on Game Gear? Thanks

Actually it was thanks to one of the games main programers doug opus, since he was the one who released it to the public, you can hear about the whole development the game went through as well as why it wasnt released here at www.opusgames.com, his sites chock full of info games he did for sega.

what i think is that sega originally worked on this tittle exclusivly for the megadrive, but then their fans awaited a sonic game on the 32x. so they decided to do it on 32x, rather than on the genesis, to help the new sega add-on. but that's my guess, it could be all wrong.

No, it is a TecToy original for SMS, and with permission and collaboration of Capcom. There is no official Street Fighter II for the GG, but I do own a copy of a Korean bootleg of SFII for the GG. It's flickery, badly programmed, doesn't feature all chars, has incorrect background stages and music, etc. The character sprites do look fairly nice on the GG, however, through some odd feat of piracy.

Sounds like Bomberman Users Battle. A pricey little Hucard. You can actually find it on YJ now for a price. :)

Not sure since I've never burned it to a CD. I'll give it a go this weekend to see what it is.

What about the unreleased games that people own, but haven't released?

    Dreamcast
Take the Bullet - Someone has the GDR of this as I've seen screen shots.
Black n' White - Apparently the guys doing the conversion made off with the final complete beta build and are happily playing this.

    N64
Echo Delta - I'm sure someone turned up on here with the most complete English version of this on Dev cart.

To the owners: Please release these games. There's a million copies of the Mona Lisa, but the original is still priceless. Your GDR/Dev cart investment will still be safe. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to purchase these betas (and any other good games) for a reasonable price.

Kron is the one with Take the Bullet.

Black and White would be interesting to see. Was it ever released for the PSX (*shudders*)?

Not that I can find. Gamespot still has preview screens of both versions though.

And whist they're not games, aren't some of the Dreamcast system disks available?

I head some very bad things about the dev cycle of that one (hence its cancellation). Would still be neat to see in action though.

    Nope.

Yep. I have a copy of the 'System disc 2' (available on my ftp of corse).

ok, actually, I have thought of some other games that were rumored to be released, but cancelled for some reason or another:

    Playstation
    Quake 1
    Ultimate Mortal Kombat III

Mortal Kombat III for 3do and Jaguar

Mortal Kombat Special Forces and X-Men Mutant Academy for N64

Mortal Kombat I&II Duo Pack for Saturn (the GB one was released)

    Soul Reaver 2 for Dreamcast

    Megaman Legends 2 for PC

Eternal Darkness, Dinosaur Planet, and original Conker N64 game
Killer Instinct One all for N64 (each were confirmed by several game media outlits)

Final Fight Revenge for Dreamcast (heard it was playable according to Japanese DC mags)

    anyone?

Eternal Darkness and Dinosaur Planet made it out on the GameCube.
