To say I'm very interested in an understatement. Can anyone else confirm the existence of any of these? I'd love to see how complete DinoPlanet was.

Roi, what game is that smaller picture from? It looks like it was a N64 game. I sure that what ever it was turned in to Star Fox on the Cube. Looks far too similar to be a coincidence.

Its' Dinosaur Planet - He's comparing the 2. Dino Planet Was done by rare for N64 first, then became Cube, then Starfox (might have those last 2 the wrong way round)

 

for the two pal users, ulimate mortal Kombat 3 came out on Playstation in Europe? Cool, any scans? (I thought it was canned because Sega bought all rights for saturn)

Also, thought of another one, since, I'm on the 3do hunt, the PSone and Saturn port of Killing Time by Acclaim

 

WTF UMK3 for pal Playstation ??? give me some screenshots and scans since i have never heard that only MK3 and MKT and MK4 and some other things if i remeber right.

 

its like mortal kombat 2 which was released for psx in japan but no where else, its pretty rare, then theres the psx port of of captain commando that is also extremely rare, some belive this might have been made due to the abadon sega/mega cd port that was said to be prototyped on a cartridge. Still id be curious to see how far capcom got with re 2 on saturn and street fighter 3 on 64dd. then of course there was there port of re 1 for gbc,but even though many magazines and media places onlien got to play it, the beta of it never leaked which is a shock. One beta id really like to try since it was pretty far into dev and about complete before it got canned due to it being shiftted to 64dd and the ad on bombing was rev-limit. Of course you never know, if nintendo was as loose as sega was witht their betas, i can tell you we would find some extremly intresting gems, since they do keep alot of projects not finished secret and tend to not mention them to the public as well as most of them being only aval at noj, i mean no one would have guessed or known that nintnendodogs was originaly a cube game if miyamoto didnt reveal it in an interview. And the only reason that star fox 2 ever got leaked was the fact that the it was codeveloped by agronougt and thus one of the team members had a copy of it on his dev station and released it, as far as who it was we will probably never know since that person would probably not want to get sued by nintnedo and lose his job as well.

 

And the reason why they changed from Dinosaur Planet to StarFox Adventures was because the leading role resembled with Fox McCloud and the universe was thought appropriate... Which was not the case.

I never heard about that before! I don't think its true since I never ever heard of an rez sequel for the cube! Does Gamasuntra has any footage of it?

 

I'm pretty sure I read that LeGit has a playable copy of Test Drive: Cycles on Dreamcast.

If it's true, it's the only copy I've heard of.

Other than that, I remain hopeful that other unreleased Dreamcast goodies will be set free into the wild.
