Mummy in the cave mentions Gades. He calls him Gades-sama. He would probably call him Master Gades in an English Lufia II version, if the mummy was in the final game.

Also interesting to check out:
In debug mode, press L or R to cycle through all overworld sprites.
In battle you can also cycle through monsters and backgrounds. (forgot the button combination)

Also, it's possible that dungeon was still being worked on.
In the intro of the game Dekar and the Soldier talk about a shrine in the north. (they talk about a labyrinth in the final version)
Maybe that dungeon was still in the progress from shrine type dungeon to basement type dungeon?

 

First of all, thanks for doing all this! I've been following this proto since Jack Head's posts, so I'm glad you're repairing it and showing it off like this! I look forward to it's eventual release. As for your current problem... I might know what's going on. At this point in the story, Guy is supposed to have left your party. Dekar joins you at the end of the dungeon (or a little bit afterwards, been a while since I played). Anyway, since you didn't beat those clowns and finish the Treasure Shrine, Guy didn't leave you. You should only have Maxim, Tia, and Selen. Perhaps the game does a check to see if your party has room for Dekar, but since you don't the game simply resets to avoid imploding onto itself. That's just a hunch, though, as I know nothing about hacking/programming/the game's inner workings. Anyway, here's wishing you luck getting past this part!

 

Dekar does not join until after you have finished that dungeon.
Game should progress there even with Guy in your party, but he won't have any dialogue there ofcourse.

Lol, were are you now? The pillars never entered the final version, but I also can't remember a similar puzzle.

These boulders are in final version graphics but never used.

Seems they came from the proto!

 

That looks like an area from the Japanese version, but for the NA and PAL release that room was replaced with the yellow+red blocks puzzle.

And those colored pillars are in the final version, but never used so you can't see them normally.

 

What can I do now? I am blocked and I don't want to explore all the game until I don't resolve the bug which reset the game.
In all others aeras on the MAP world there are no enemies... all save points are disable...

I want to see Dekar in battle.

Where in the game Dekar appear? and re join the party or like the bug i creat in the first town (to see the end of game i had 4 characters).

 

In the final game, you can get Dekar to join you if you waltz in the small shrine east of bound kingdom. (use debug mode to walk through the door and guards there)

Who can explain me in details how can i see in battle debug mode all enemies and backgrounds? please

 

*Debug mode has to be enabled*

*During battle*
Hold Select then press R to enter Debug Battle mode (a sound effect confirms success)
Press Start to freeze action

Debug Battle controls:
Press A or B to cycle through backgrounds
Press X or Y to cycle through monsters
Hold up then press R to exit

Try doing it again, but with only 2 or three party members and see if Dekar joins now.

I don't understand the question.
But if you just want to see Dekar's sprites, I could try replacing Maxim's battle sprites with Dekar in a program since they have the same color scheme. I did some sprites replacing before with sprites in the final version. Then you'll fight as Maxim, who looks like Dekar in battle.

there's another event where dekar joins the party. Hopefully this'll trigger.Try this:
Go to the mountain north of Aleyn and speak to Jyad there. Defeat the boss and go to the tree and watch the event.
In Aleyn go to the inn twice, then talk to Jyad at the port so Dekar will join there.

 

I restart a new game and I can enter in the cave now with only Maxim.

 

is there still no dump of this released

 

I can have Dekar If I have only 3 members in my party in the small shrine.
