Estpolis Denki II NTSC-JAP Prototype

I'm trying to get the Ranran step via codes (7E0A8DXX) (7E0A8EXX) but it appears the items are stored in a different order than in the final version.
I haven't found it yet, this is assuming the item even exists in the proto =P
(Ranran step shows all battle animations if you use it)

It must be buried in here somewhere, it was obviously a debugging tool.

 

The L+X (?) debug function on "ITEM" doesn't work in the proto.
