Is Dekar still in your party? because at the shrine you first have to destroy a ball from Idura there. Dekar will leave the party after the scene, and then you can progress.

Well, Dekar's a gone pecan. But hey, atleast we're close to Lexis now! I wonder what his victory dance looks like? Also, trevormarco, have you ever played Lufia 2 before now? Just wondering, feel free not to answer.

Sweet. My dad was hugely interested in JRPGs back in the SNES' heyday, so I inheirited my collection of them from him. Both Lufias, both Breath of Fires, Chrono Trigger... considering how rare they are nowadays, I'm greatful. Not quite as rare as a proto of Lufia 2, though. XD

Have you gotten the Priphea flowers yet? Head back to Treadool and there should be a girl there when you enter. Talk to her to start the quest. Then you have to finish up Flower Mountain. After all that, Lexis will have finished the ship.

I've got all of the retail versions of Lufia II, except the Australian version. Have them complete, minus the Spanish one which I only have cart only.

Whoa man, take it easy! Leave some copies of Lufia 2 for everyone else, huh? Nah, I'm kidding. That's pretty cool. The game must have left quite an impact on you, huh?

And trevormarco, did you see my message on the previous page about Tanbel Tower?

Yeah, and I can actually read the Dutch, German and English versions. Only know a little bit Japanese.
As for the Spanish version, I don't know Spanish at all, but at least you can guess words that look similar to words from other languages =P (besides that, I already know what to do in this game)

And Trevormacro already checked that out (I had the same question before, many pages ago =P)
    His answer was this:

I was aware he's already past that part, but there's something else there I was hoping he'd go back and look at. There's an unused room in the tower (in the final version atleast)that I read about here, and I was curious if it was there in the prototype, and if so if it actually functioned.

That's the dummied out room. (just without all the useless chests)

the one with the monster is the proto screenshot

Just a monster in the room in the proto.

This is in the main room (with the music puzzle) it either has an extra door that leads outside or, judging on the shadows from the proto screenshot, the main room used to be two separate rooms. But you'll have to ask trevor about the main room.

Anyway, if the main room with the music puzzle in it used to be 2 rooms, then that means that the dummied out rooms there were meant to connect the two areas from the inside.

    Perhaps like this?

The "extra door" from the proto leads outside, to the right side of the normal door. But there's no door sprite outside.

Ok, I'm officially a derp. I didn't recognize that was indeed the room he was in just because the chests were gone. I was never good at "spot the difference" games... heh. Of course, that makes the faux treasure room even MORE mysterious. Considering how early this proto is, that means they didn't add the chests until later. And if that's the case, why? What would they have been for? The mystery continues...

If you can't find a way, then you could always make one from screenshots.

How much of a hurry are you in to get a full world map? Screenshots are a totally valid, though really long-winded way of doing it, but if you want to play through the entire game first before releasing the ROM you could always just wait for that. I'm sure someone could somehow get a nice world map out of the code once you're ready to do so.

Give the ROM to someone (that signs an NDA), and have them make an image of the world map
