After WC2010 they have something to prove. Very stiff competition during the group stages for England. I would not be surprised if France came first in the group stages and England second.

I remember Denmark being a super strong team when I was a kid - both in the Mexico 1986 World Cup (I was five years old, but still, all I knew about Denmark back then was that they rocked at football), and the 1992 Euro. I also remember seeing the 96 Euro with supreme excitement, and that Croatian uniform with the Red-White checkers. And that red card play that saved Germany! Was it against the Czech, or against Croatia? Great games, both of those. What a cup. This time around, it's very likely for Spain to win again, but I'd really like it to be Denmark, or Croatia, or the Czech Republic, or any surprise team. Except Portugal. Because, man, Fuck CR9.
