Why so much hatred for Ronaldo? Did he personally do something to you? I can't see why anyone would not enjoy watching him play. Back on topic - Yet again another dismal perfomance by England. We cannot keep arriving at these tournaments with such defensive mindsets. It was one of the weakest teams Italy have had for years and the game was there to be won. He should have started Carrol and Defoe and left Rooney on the bench (I think it was clear to see that he wasn't match fit), he should also have gone with a little youth and pace and started both Walcott and Chamberlain. Did we really expect anything else though? Seriously? Hodgson must be knocking 100 years old soon and the game has changed so much since he was any good at what he does. Long gone are the days of the long ball and hanging on to a 1-0 lead. Not that it has exactly started (weather wise at least) over here by my summer officially ended yesterday :moody:

spotted the vg duo we crushed germany, and balotelli managed to create a GREAT team situation managing to tie great friendship with pirlo, cassano, diamanti, and di natale.... also i wonder why diamanti is not on the starting team after the impressive skills and athletics shown so far... (and he's also from my city, just to add to that )
Well done Italy for beating Germany i think balotelli's performance should shut up a lot of people who have been negative about him Italy should go on to win it now. also i saw that the actual Mario brother's showed up to watch the game last night..did anyone else see them.
