@Yakumo I was referring to this: http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/3do-m2-cirrus-logic-graphics-card.27953/
Looks like Thursday guys! If I can post a hint or something sooner, I will! Thanks for all the interest!
Hello Assembler friends, I registered to this forum just to show you this. I found this 3Do unit during one of my trips in Japan some months ago, in a Hard off close to Fujieda, Japan. Apparently it is a promotional item with the Coca cola logo on it, I tried to look for some info on the unit but found nothing, it would be greatly appreciated if any of you could shed some light on this. Anyway, just to let you know this exists in case you never heard of it, here it is the 3do coke version (no sticker, this is the real thing). Weird stuff.
1.who did you get it from? 2.is there any differences from a normal 3DO 3.did it come with any games?
Don't you think you're a bit rude? How about a welcome to the forum or some sentence rather than what looks like a demand list of questions. It doesn't take time to be polite.
i was asking those questions because i would like to know if it was something like a prize bundle so i can add it to the list
I know but at least put a sentence showing your interest then requesting answers rather than a list and nothing else.
No, I got that from the shelf of this Hard off, the clerks told me that there was even a possibility the machine could not function, so I bought a pachinko simulator to test it at the hotel and it was working. Right now I am playing Short Warp with it at home. It would be great if somebody can share some info on this, thank you! - I am adding 2 pics from the day I bought the 3do, it is just the fz-10 model with the coca cola logo, and I am guessing this model could have been part of a campaign (like maybe was the Coca cola game gear?), but still no clue.
I reccon back in the day, Coca-Cola probably did some sticker campaign where you could win a 3DO. They still do stuff like this now. You basically win normal items with the Coca-Cola logo silkscreened on to it. Still a very cool and rare 3DO that's for sure.
Oh, and speaking of the M2, I remember having downloaded a pic of an M2 that mounted on the underside of the FZ-10, and there was Japanese captions with it. A magazine scan. I don't have the image anymore, due to having deleted it. The same case applies to this pic of a chome-colored Atari Lynx prototype. I should not have deleted those images at all.
Hey Everybody! Less than 24 hours at this point! I can't wait to show you what we are doing!
