Back on topic, I actually did like the whole pre-launch campaign by Bethesda, I believe it was very well executed, generating tons of hype, and the videos on SPECIAL were superb

I bought it a few days ago, and pre-loaded it when available. Went to bed last night before it became available, ...and working from home today, but can't play yet, too much work to do.

I am looking forward to it having a solid story like Fallout 1, 2, 3 -- as others, I did not enjoy New Vegas much. The town building aspect looks very interesting and that it will provide hours of gameplay post quests. It looks like they took in lots of ideas from Fallout 3/NV mods as well.

As for the bugs, it is to be expected from Bethesda and I don't mind unless it is a major game / quest breaking bug.

 

This game's real potential like most other Bethesda games will be in the mods that the community makes.
There is already a graphics mod for Fallout 4

 

What can you people say about the character design?
Is it horrendous like any other bethesda game?
Why develop nice looking characters if you can waste resources in useless objects all around the world, right...

 

Absolutely, I think I've had around 10-15 GB in mod content for Oblivion and Fallout 3. There's a great modding community out there, specially around Nexus.

I found it pretty interesting that the Xbox One version has support for *some* PC mods. In any case, I bought the PC version.

@HEX1GON well, that looks like a bit over the top I agree, but then, I'd prefer to have blasting advertising of any video game over L'Oreal or other crap

We didn't get much publicity in Dublin, just in Gamestop and a few posters on the street.

I bought the game last night and played it for a few hours. So far its an awesome game! The graphics are way better than 3 or Vegas (although they look slightly dated). I would highly suggest it to anyone.

Just watched Conan "playing" it and to me it just looks like fallout 3 ever so slightly better looking.
I'm not a fan of the series but I did expect way better graphics. Makes me think that I'm not missing much with my mega drive.
