Those aint screenshots, they look more like concept art or renders...

And what gun attachment? the guys in the photo are using standart revo remotes.

Anyways, I only hope it plays like that gun game from konami, the one with the Ir tracking eyes.

Why do you guys think those are renders? Look like low polly, high resolution proof of concept shots to me. The game is playable.

Dude I'm not an ace in 3Dstudio but I can make low poly model like those, no sweat....

Is the high resolution and unrealistic shadows/light what looks fake.

The link goes to a web that says "buy the mag ya cheap bastard!" but no SS...

Anyways, if the SS are the same cahaz already posted then that what I was talking about...

I've spoken my part on the issue, but I dunno, looks kind of intense to put a gun like that on the cover. Could be worse if they put a decapitated Leon on a game cover, though!

I must admit that it looks like a render, now that i watched them more carefully. The high rez and Incredible Shadow/ Lights make the thing look unrealistic, But also note that that there's no hud, life bar or ammo. More importantly, in the two screens you see, there's only two characters displayed on the screen shots, both are on both pictures and in exactly the same position on each pictures. The "good guy" with the shot gun is also in the same position as in the first one, but he's just hiden behind a seems to be a soda machine.

Screens look a little photoshoped to me. The lighting looks like it was pasted on. Definetly a render. Although I am happy to see they're targeting an older audience from the get go. Looks promising, and I can't remember the last time people got this excited about a new Nintendo console.

Me neither, the hype is really big, and if they deliver i really think they could gain lots of points in the war.

Anyway, Long post; be warned. More details and pics.

Heh, talk about a cliched storyline...

Has anyone, anywhere (that can speak about it or show videos) actually seen the controller used in realtime? I still really have my doubts about the responsiveness of the tracking.

apart of the teaser trailer (wich nintendo said was exagerated) of the controller from last tgs, no videos where taken from the thing in action. Filming was prohibited at the demo kiosks.

Whats the big deal about a gun attachment? Its been rumored ever since we learned about the Rev controller. IGN even had renders of what it could look like. I seriously dont know if its fanboyism or what, but weve had gun controllers since the NES...wtf?

I was sold on the Rev as soon as I heard about the remote.

I was thinking of that, too, but there werent *supposed* game-inspired deaths, like Columbine, around the time of the NES gun. There were lightgun games, sure, but many parents probably didnt know about them, or they werent too popular.

A gun attachment might cause a stink, especially from a developer like Nintendo. Im not calling the system "kiddy" mind you, but thats the general image most parent would probably think of them, now. Parents probably think its a kid safe system. If they saw a gun attachment, now, it might cause something.

I can see it now. Soccermoms complaining about "Gun controllers" and how games teach our kids to shoot. With little or not mention of the NES gun when it hits the news.

Thats just my little prediction. I could be wrong, but still...

Columbine had nothing to do with games. It was about a bunch of suicidal racists.
