First shots of nights

    Yeah I remember reading about that on some Saturn Dev forum. Would be very handy to check out home brew that's for sure !

    racketboy has a guide how you do it but says that you need the modchip :shrug:

    It's a simple POT setting to lower the resistance, what does a modchip have to do with that?

    The camera angle in all of those looks screwy, not like the original at all. I hope they don't mess with the essential gameplay too much.

    the graphics are very dull for Wii standards. With all that RAM they could do better textures, I m certain. Also, the polygone count on the main character is very low - I m aware the Wii isn't powerful, but it's twice as fast as the GameCube and I would expect that to show, especially when Sonic and the secret rings rendered such nice visuals.

    Indeed, we just got the news that the game is WiP, I wouldnt expect anything mindblowing until the E3 at least...

    You have to point it at the screen and move like if flying so people around you think you're a retard playing a girly game...

    The fact is that with today's standarts for games (much more bloody and dark-ish that in 96) you cant sell a game like Nights like something serious.

    Is a shame, but hey, blame the society, not the company...

    Looks quite Dreamcast to me. Perhaps this was a previous shelved project. Bright Colours do not disguise the low poly geometry and the bad/stretched textures.

    Now you mention it I kinda felt like I was looking at the Nights pinball in sonic adventure all over again.

    But anyways, I dont think SEGA would go as far as to resuscitate a 8 years old project like Air Nights.........right?

    it looks very bad for today's standards. Gameplay is king alright, but this is pushing it.

    I think they should just convert the original to Live Arcade like Castlvania SOTN (The games pretty small if you convert the music\movies). At least NiGHTS is in widescreen, plus playing it with a wireless 360 pad would be pwnage!
