http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/08/16/yacht.murders.reut/ Former Power Ranger charged with murder! I don't remember him, I don't think he was in the first 3 seasons...
Apparently he was only an extra. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8930680/ Skylar Deleon appeared as an extra in the "Power Rangers" TV series, relatives said.
HE LOOKS LIKE TOMMY... OMG could it be him?! The Green Ranger who then became the white ranger.. I was a minor fan of the series back in the day and he was actually my favorite character.. Nah. The murderer is in fact an extra and didnt have any leading roles.
It's not. This guy was an extra/throwaway character. Fun fact: I actually watched one of the newer episodes (Ninja Death Force 3 or something), and "Tommy" was actually in that episode. Whether he was a cast member or just a guest, I don't know. He was my favorite character, too .
I remember a case in Norway where three kids played power rangers, and they killed the third one, and TV3 (a TV channel) stopped showing the TV shows.
i havent watched that show in many years...and when i was young i was a huge fan...but since i never looked into this...power rangers seems japanese...is it only me who thinks this?.........i couldnt be bothered to check it...i gotta go in for the night shift soon anyways
The first and second seasons of power rangers WERE an actual Japanese show with Voice overs during the battles, and they added in American footage and characters in the USA. The more you know!
ahhhaaaa.....thats what i couldnt understand...the battles looked japanese..but there were american actors in it....thanks for clearing that up ...
Yeh thats true. In fact, the first fight scene in the FIRST episode they aired on Fox Kids I remember seeing some signs in Japanese in the background. I remember all the other knockoff shows that appeared shortly after PR became popular such as: VR Troopers and I forget the title of this show but it had just one hero and he looked like a bug, well his helmet had the bug eyes and even the antennas.
Oh man, I remember the knock offs... Theres the obvious VR Troopers, and the slightly less remembered Big Bad Beetle Borgs (probably what you're thinking of) and finally the hilarious "Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad."
I used to watch power rangers over a decade ago too hehehe. Something like this happened recently with an old UK TV celebrity: Chris Quinten from Coronation Street has been charged with rape. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/4176910.stm
lol i loved the Green ranger, that whole evil then good, then losing powers and stuff was awesome. I loved when hed try to fight weakened. I was the Green Ranger for halloween when i was little, it was awesome lol.
The show were they looked like bugs was Tatoo teen fighters or teen tattoo fighters something like that it was very swiss. I used to watch pr before i go to school every morning and joke with the other kids but then again i was in 12th grade and ready to graduate. And every one called me the green ranger because i would call for my ultra zoid during my wrestling matches.. it was stupid but it got me in the local paper.
Karmen Rider, a green hero who wore a grasshopper mask and rode a motorcycle, adapted by Saban (the company responsible for butchering these Sentai series) as Masked Rider. So this guy tied two old people to an anchor and threw them overboard, stole thier boat, and then tried to empty thier bank account? Damn. Talk about cold blooded.
I thought that show was called the "Masked Mantis" (or something with "Mantis" in it). That was one odd show... I do have fond memories of watching it at my grandmother's house, though.
All the Power Rangers should have been locked up from birth then we would not have had to witness such crap!
I forgot about Big Bad Beetle borgs. My lil brother owned some of their action figures and I can't believe I still remember how their theme song goes.
Thats the name of the show!! And yes thats cold blooded for what he did, sucks being an unemployed actor lol.
