The internal memory cards are finished and tested! They are going into production now and will be in my hands within 2-3 weeks. They are now available in the store as an add-on item. If you have an open order and you would like to add an internal memory unit, contact me directly here.

    Features:

A custom designed internal memory card that functions identically to the original NEO GEO memory card, with sixteen times the space. More than enough space for the entire NEO GEO library!

    - Save game positions
    - Save hi scores
    - Save seasons in Baseball Stars
    - Save League Bowling ball weight
    - Save option settings in the Metal Slug series

*hi scores are not saved with cheats active*
*the internal memory card is not a memory card like pictured, it is a custom unit that is installed inside your Analogue CMVS Slim*

Personally, NEO GEO is one of my favorite systems and I believe it benefits the most from a custom service like this. With AES prices some of the most expensive and rarest to find around - it's not a very economical option to explore the NEO's library and just enjoy the system. The Analogue CMVS Slim was developed to be the ultimate way to play NEO GEO, with every retro video output (pure RGB/SCART, Component, S-Video, Composite) and put together in a handcrafted enclosure to be the center piece of any collection. Couple that with the arcade sticks I produce, which utilize the identical joystick and buttons used in the original NEO GEO candy cabs (I purchase all components directly from Seimitsu in Japan, no knock offs). Check out this page here for more information about CMVS's and why it was created: http://analogueinteractive.com/why-cmvs

In regards to current gen consoles - my primary interest in video games is retro gaming, so thats my main focus. What system(s) would you want to see?

Work on a plastic one and I'm in.

No offence meant as it's some fine work you've done but I just don't get the whole wood thing. There are others who have done similar things and I think it just looks awful.

Amen bro. The added memory card support interests me. I read about this mod and from what I've gathered it is rather hard to do to a MV1C due to some of the required lines missing. I know for fact these units use the MV1C board so the design of this custom unit interests me. Perhaps based off of Neo Turf Masta's design that fits over CPU to add new BIOS and memory card support?

Producing a plastic system would certainly be much easier and much cheaper. But that was never what I was going for or really what interests me. Regardless, I totally understand wood is not everybody's thing, but it's meant to be a fine piece of hand crafted woodworking, something very special to last forever. A gem of any collection.

I don't want to steal Analogue's thunder, but they exist: Omega Entertainment Machine. They do not offer memory cards though.

This other guy on the neo-geo forums was making them in an AppleTV-like enclosure. I don't know if he's still making them or just back ordered at the moment though.

Thanks! Yeah, they are definitely a high end item, but it's a hand crafted, extremely high quality system - something that will last you forever. :)

Beautiful work as always, Christoph. Out of curiosity, do you sell empty wooden shells for people who'd like to consolize an MVS themselves? If so, what would the price point be on the wooden shell itself?

    Thanks kuze!

Unfortunately we do not offer shells separately, only as complete units.

That other guy is Ocelot, I messaged him recently. He just got memory cards working on his units - but he wants like 500 Euros for the unit.

I love the look of the analog CMVS but my heart goes out to the Omega Entertainment System simply because the wood finish isn't for me. I love your work man - but it just isn't my thing. No hard feelings.

I like the look of Ocelot's systems too but - 500 Euro is a LOT for it. IMO, for readily avaible CMVS, Omega > ACMVS > Ocelot
