Nope... I forgot about the speaker on the under-side until you mentioned it.

I held it to my ear and carefully pressed some of the keys. Half of the keys made an almost inaudible "pop" noise, whereas the other half did nothing. The keys with made a sound are also the only ones which make things happen on the screen.

I figured as much, since I've had to load a few games in "48k mode" on my Spectrum +2. Sadly, the "J"/"LOAD" key is one of the broken keys. :/

Doh, should have looked for that myself. Thanks. :)

It's possible, but my other Spectrum+ works fine on the same TV, which is why I figured this one is faulty. Actually, my other one is faulty, too - broken keyboard. *sigh*

I decided to open up the unit to check the connections and look for anything which has been on fire, but didn't see anything amiss (not that I'm an expert on such things...). I did disconnect and carefully reconnect the two keyboard ribbon connectors, but when I powered it back on, it was even more dead. *sigh*

The video signal is now completely unusable. I can still see that it's powering up, since the patterns of static change, but I appear to have done it more harm than good. Oh well...

Thanks for the advice, dude. I'll check out the manual (in case these are common problems), then do some Googling - I'm sure I'm not the only person to have these problems.

Removed sold stuff, edited the smaller images to make it easier to see what is still available (large images not updated), dropped a few prices and added the following new stuff to the first post:

    PS2 games
    Xbox games
    GameCube games
    Dreamcast games
    Saturn games

Added some Mega Drive games in blister packs to the second post, too.

Discounts available if you buy several games.

Price drops on most things and sold stuff removed. Nothing new added, though.

If the Atari ST games aren't sold by this evening, they'll be removed from this thread and thrown to the wolves on eBay (as one large lot) - so feel free to make offers (for the lot, or individual games). They're taking up a lot of space - space I need by next Sunday.

Hey Aypok, I still want the SF atari games from you along with the other bits we have chatted about. Please don't ebay them with the rest. I will be in touch when I get a bit more free time.
    Cheers dude.

Don't worry; they were separated a few weeks ago. :) I've been meaning to catch you on Messenger, but I've not seen you around for a while.
