2D though. Braid was cool but the actual platforming in that game is pretty light. you can walk and jump. The real gameplay comes from time warping or whatever. Still need to beat that... Barcode I'm trying to get all the stars in Mario 64...will you be proud of me if I accomplish this?
Yeah, not sure how to respond to that. If only one of you would engage in discussion with some arguments instead of downright denial that could help. For the record however, Galaxy is as innovative as 3D platformers get nowadays and has no contemporary rival really.
I think you' ll be prouder  the DS version has 150 stars (which I got during long sessions in the crapper). oh, and I do have a website, it's nothing special at the moment though :icon_bigg
I forgot I even had the DS version...the controls kind of bugged me but I thought it was so cool, Mario 64 portable! I will say some of Mario Galaxy annoyed me because almost every damn level is based on the gravity/sphere thing it seemed. Still didn't get all those stars but I think I only had 10 left.
Just read some reviews of Sonic & The Black Knight and apparently it sucks..not that it's surprising for a new Sonic game to suck, but this was gonna be a sequel-of-sorts to Secret Rings, which I thought was pretty good (even though it would've been way better with a regular controller).
Yeah, Secret Rings didn't seem that bad, I just had problems such as the Wiimote not responding, but a lot of it could be me sucking. I haven't played it much.
Are those games really actually fun? I hear great things but whenever I look at them they look really unappealing, at least the charectars do. The first Jak and Daxter was kind of fun years back but the charectars were so lame. I might get a PS3 soon so I'll have to check it out. (I don't think I will ever learn how to spell characters correctly...one of those words that escapes me everytime)
Aren't the Ratchet and Crank games more about shooting stuff than actual platforming? Or maybe that was Jak & Daxter, always get those two confused.
