I tried and you're right. It's better than to use just the wii remote. As for the collection, just 3 new games:
I had no idea Cave Story received a physical release on Switch, after seeing your picture I looked a bit more and seems it comes with a nice manual with some cool artwork and reversible cover, nice! How's your Vita collection coming up?
Cave Story doesn't really have a reversible cover. On the inside it just shows some images of Cave Story and 1001 Spikes (both in japanese). It also comes with the manual that remembers the original Gameboy games manuals in size and a mini OST As for the Vita collection it's increasing basically only on the LRG releases. I stopped buying the regular retail releases since the games stopped appealing to me but since I don't know if I will want to come back to its full set, I continue to buy the LRG releases.Right now I have 188 physical games for the Vita.
Ah, the mini OST, knew I was missing something , very cool for what we get nowadays. I still have to beat it, been playing it on and off on my GP2X.
I want to play it soon. My initial idea was to play Puyo Puyo Tetris, Cave Story and then Splatoon 2. But I started playing Puyo Puyo Tetris and I couldn't put it down because of the online part and yesterday Splatoon 2 arrived and so I will play Splatoon 2 this weekend.
August was a surprisingly good month. I got 5 WiiU games and 1 GC game. I'm starting to feel like going for the WiiU fullset. Then I finally modded my GBA with a better screen: And a friend gave my one N64. The strange thing about it is that the front seems like a Jungle Green console but the top is a bit blue-green. I think the top is sunfaded and that's why it looks like this:
I bought the Dexter's Laboratory game since I was curious to play it since I was a child and I found a complete (but not mint) brazilian version for a good price. The game is not very good at all but it's another one for the collection. I bought the japanese Luigi's Mansion because I like the cover and the price was good. As for Smash Bros DX, I was looking for a retail copy to complete the set and I finally found one for a good price and in a great condition. And below is the complete Smash Bros DX set. I found interesting to see that the visual of the disc from the NFR version is different from the visual from the retail disc.
October was a good month for the collection. And got the game to go with the stand that I already had for some years.
Thanks! The standee I got a few years ago from a friend (who also gave me a lot of N64 boxes). I also liked your Alien CE on reddit. It's great.
Today I decided to take new pictures of the game room. I still have a few consoles and games (PS4, Xbone, Switch and WiiU (total of 151 games)) in my bedroom but the majority of the games are in the game room. The differences to last year's post are that I finished the N64 fullset, I moved the Vita games from my bedroom to the game room and games that I bought since I last posted. Detailed pictures:
This is awesome. Congrats man. Hey you should do a room tour video so we can better grasp the awesomeness of it. Cheers.
Thanks! I never did a video. In fact, I don't like to watch collection videos. I prefer to see pictures. I can take my time looking at them and there isn't someone talking over it. So, I don't think I will do a collection video.
Here are the last pick ups: PS3 tool controller that I bought here on AG: And some games (I think I missing the picture from Ys Origins and the other LRG release that came with it):
I was waiting to get Xenoblade 2 before posting my Black Friday purchases but it seems Xeno 2 hasn't arrived in Brazil yet. Turma da Monica is the rerelease from Tectoy. Dead Rising 4 was less than US$8 on the brazilian Amazon and Wolfenstein 2 was US$25 from a retailer here.
The SNES Classic is just too cute! I got myself the European version. Was it hard to get considering lack of stock everywhere or has it been re-stocked? I found AC Origins to be quite good, I haven't really payed too much attention to AC after the Ezio saga, as I found each of the next ones to get worse and worse, but this one surprised me quite a bit. The modded GBA looks neat! Super crisp and bright! I think someone else here already explained the differences to me between these versions - can you refresh my memory?
