Will have to keep on and finish Super Mario Galaxy before I can put a vote in, but IMHO Halo 3 isn`t. Will for me be either Bioshock or SMG when finished
The year isn't over unless you have some country that has december as the new year, still a week to go and still a a week before GT5 Prologue is released. Anyway that list is full of very "American" games, tooooo many FPS games and isn't very balanced.
I can only vote for COD4, Halo 3 and the Orange Box as they're the only games I've played, but Orange box wins hands down. Episode 2 was fantastic but if this package had come only with Portal it still would have been worth the $40.
I would probably pick SMG if I got to play it this year. Halo 3 was the only game I bought new this year, and I'm still playing it. I haven't played Mass Effect yet though.
List favors the 360 a bit too much as well. Other doesnt really do the job, when Uncharted and Ratchet are around, plus other handheld standouts
I've not so much as touched a single one. Closest I got was Mario Galaxy on display on an end cap. Watched it for about a minute.
I've got the Orange Box, but I haven't played that much of it. And the only other game I've played on that list was Halo 3. I've been playing lots of old games for the Xbox 360 lately. Hell, I think the only new game I've played this year was Halo 3! But most of the games I've been playing this year are old. Oh wait, I did play that super collection of Metal Slug games for the PSP. Though it had lag issues, due to some limitations on the hardware or something. Not sure about Overlord for the Xbox 360 being new or not, but I wouldn't call it GOTY either.
OMG! Halo3?! you guys r a bunch of fanb0yz!!1!one Jokes aside, I havent played galaxy enough as to give a veredict, and dunno about orange box since while I like portal its just one game, out of 5... Bioshock was pretty cool tought, anyway, am I the only one who cant see the poll's graphs?
Rock Band was released on PS3 as well as 360. Bioshock is also on PC. The Orange Box will be released on PS3 and is currently on PC. Call of Duty 4 is on PC and PS3. Halo 3 and Mass Effect are the only two 360 exclusives. Well, I don't really have control over what games are the best sellers and top rated this year. Yeah, there is. Hence, 7 other choices.
