I just finished Albert Odyssey - Legend of Eldean and although it's not a Saturn must-play it's a should-play. It's too bad the price of this one keeps going up.
I just beat Portal 2 for the third time. Although I liked it the first time I played, it didn't wow me like the original Portal. After playing through it again, it's grown on me. I love it.
Bloodrayne Betrayal >> very fun and challenging game! Something every castlevania-fan should check out
Mirror's Edge. Although as with Portal, I look at it more of as a concept than a game itself, nonetheless it was pretty impressive.
I've finished a few older titles in the last month. First up Alien 3 on the Mega Drive on Hard difficulty without taking a hit :033:. It took me ages to master it, some of the levels are pretty tough to work through until you know where all the hidden passages and stuff are . Overall I thought it was a brilliant game with the only let down being the simplicity of the guardians, the first one is the hardest! And yesterday I finished James Bond 007 The Duel on Master System. I wasn't sure whether I liked this or not at first as the controls are a bit dodgy until you get used to them, but after persevering I really enjoyed the game. With Bond girls to rescue, bosses such as Jaws and Oddjob, and huge space rockets to disable I don't see how any Bond fan could fail to like this . There is a real twist to the gameplay too that turns it from a tough game into a brutally hard game! If you use a continue somewhere near to the end then basically you won't be able to finish it. All the cases and hostages you collect through the game determine how much time you have to complete the final level, use a continue and only the cases you collect after that count!
Oh I really loved it, enjoyed every minute of the game. The colors are so vibrant, that's one of the first things that made an impact on me, and well all the street running / parkour is very well accomplished, as well as the feeling of being chased by the police or other runners. Didn't know the sequel got cancelled :/ , it would have been great to see more of this game.
Mirrors Edge is one of the few games that I really enjoyed in the last years! Great concept and gameplay!
I finish Ghosts n Goblins Arcade mostly every day but i still have to finish it in one life. I never play for score but to perfect my skills. i also try to beat Harmful Park on hard level but it wips my ass.
I really shouldn't have been gaming right now as I'm just too busy... but I just completed Deus Ex Human Revolution I got for £1 via OnLive. It is a good game and for the most part the OnLive service worked well but because of my POS ISP I did have an issue. If I Download too much my bandwidth gets throttled and my latency starts to suck hardcore due to their bullshit traffic shaping policy. Gameplay during a gimped connection leads to some really shitty looking graphics, but the rest of the time they were perfectly acceptable. I was looking at the Deus Ex Human Revolution DLC, not sure I'd care for a silenced sniper rifle - barely even used the one looted in game as I was mostly punching or stun gunning people nor do I fancy paying an extra £2 for the pleasure of not doing so. I feel I wasted some of my praxis buying additional energy cells as the regenerate feature only recharges your first cell. The rest you have to top up with pointless consumables (as any action can be done with your last single cell anyway). I also feel buying the top secret typhoon was a bit pointless as I only ever used it once and that was in a corridoor by accident - the reason being you get more experience points for knocking people out as opposed to killing them and I wanted to level up as much and as fast as possible for more upgrades, though even by the end I still didn't have everything purchased. In any case if you are familiar with the Deus Ex franchise I suggest you check it out and if you have never used the OnLive service before then it is a £1 well spent.
Finished Demon's Souls, must've played it for 6 hrs (cigarette breaks included) Game can be incredibly frustrating but at the same addictive and enjoyable. I made a mistake of starting the game and going back to it 8 months later. Didn't know how to level up and didn't bother reading the manual. Ended up killing the second boss (Tower Knight) at base soul level 6. Once i figured out that you can actually get stronger and upgrade weapons and magic it became a lot easier. This is probably the only game i thought about giving up on for good but kept going back. Demon's Souls is uncut heroin
just finished resident evil 2 for the like 100 th time, also just finished the 3rd birthday psp great game but had a hard time with the story, the ending wtf?
