Besides Sugar Rush in Wreak it Ralph being awesome looking and hence I wish it was real. The other game I wish existed which I thought up while Playing Street Fighter X Mega Man was Street Fighter X WWE. The level of insanity Street Fighter X WWE could bring.... THQ will be dead next year so who knows. BUT shoot, what games do you wish existed, but don't and probably won't.
I swear we had this thread a few months ago....anyway, my choices: Space Paranoids That VR game from The Lawnmower Man The Last Starfighter BoneStorm Gunstar Heroes 2
Sega vs Nintendo. Sonic series vs Mario series. THAT would be nothing short of interesting insanity... Use all their classic characters for a major war effort. While we're at it: Sony vs Microsoft. Crash Bandicoot series vs Halo series. And the ultimate kicker: pit all 4 against each other for the best ultimate all out 4 way war effort. Now who would get the license to make such madness?
Anything VS Microsoft would be boring. If Sega did another Fighters Megamix and gave it the roster the All Stars racing games have...we'd have something legendary.
Super Metroid HD Powerstone 3 Mech Assault 3 Trap Gunner 2 (idk whats wrong with me) A current gen title that is actually enticing/entertaining/original enough to make me fall in love with gaming again. (No breathe holding)
Dungeon Keeper 3 I wanted to play that since I saw the trailer over 10 years ago, but unfortunately it was never made.
Oh where to begin... Banjo Threeie Star Wars KotOR III (Made by Obsidian. NOT BioWare.) Star Wars Battlefront III Mass Effect 3: Good Edition An old school Crash Bandicoot made by Naughty Dog Turok 1 HD Turok 2 HD Skies of Arcadia 2 An old school Phantasy Star game that isn't centered online Valkyria Chronicles sequel on PS3 and not PSP Shenmue 3 Zelda: Majora's Mask 3DS Old school 2D Castlevania made by IGA A true console sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics A modern day Metal Gear Solid: VR missions Along with all the others I can't remember. If Halo 4 was mediocre, then I guess that means 3, ODST, and reach were terrible.
If we're just talking about game sequels that should exist, then we should get Full Throttle 2, Maniac Mansion 3 and an Actraiser sequel that doesn't suck like 2. Oh yeah, and Wing Commander 5 or 6 depending on whether or not you count Prophecy.
Some more... A Fable sequel that is more like 1 and less like 3. Metal Gear Solid: Rising (Not Revengeance, Rising) Snatcher 2 A new Road Rash Resonance of Fate 2 A new F-Zero A new Star Fox
Absolutely. Wasn't there a port of Goldeneye to the Xbox 360 or something? I like the original, clunky, hard to aim feel of it. Plus the crouch-sliding. On that thought, maybe a remake of Perfect Dark For that matter, a whole bundle of N64 games.
I loved 3, ODST, and Reach. All of them felt a bit rehashed and Halo 4 really is like a slightly modified Reach. To me it's pretty overrated. Campaign sucked and multiplayer was lackluster. I do love Reach a lot and still play it. I didn't mean to offend or anger you though. I expected a lot from Halo 4 and it let me down, big time. It didn't feel all that improved, so to me it was kinda mediocre. It's not a terrible game at all, but is not the big change I was hoping it to be. Halo, to me, is going the COD route with little upgrades now.
Ha, I'm not angry or anything. Personally, the only Halo game I ever really loved was the first one. I'm not a huge fan of the others (not that they're bad or anything), but I still think the series is far better than your typical online modern military first person shooter. I don't consider 4 a step back, but that's probably because I didn't think highly of the others past 1 to begin with. If you're looking for innovation in the FPS genre, then good luck. EDIT: I'm not here to start a debate. If you like modern military first person shooters, then good for you. Sorry for getting off topic.
I agree Halo 1 is the only one I'm crazy about. Can innovation be done in an FPS? Yes I think so but will it? Probably not.
