Can someone give me a list of all the Games that Wont work on the Super Everdrive that uses the DSP1 Chip and also can someone tell me were I can find the Chip it self :cur_sonic::mario:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_NES_enhancement_chips You get the DSP-1 chip from DSP-1 games.
No. Only DSP-1 games can work if you provide it. The chip in MMX2 and MMX3 has a different hardware setup which isn't possible with the EverDrive other any other released device to support. Here is a list of games that use chips. There might be errors in it but it's mostly correct. OBC-1: Metal Combat - Falcon's Revenge SuperFX: Dirt Racer Dirt Trax FX Doom (SFX2) StarFox StarFox 2 (SFX2) Stunt Race FX Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SFX2) Vortex Winter Gold (SFX2) DSP Series: 1991 - Pilot Wings 1992 - Super Bases Loaded 2 1992 - Super Mario Kart 1992 - Dungeon Master (DSP-2) 1993 - Final Stretch 1993 - Lock-On/Super Air Diver 1993 - Ace Wo Nerae 1993 - Armored Trooper Votoms 1993 - Super 3D Baseball 1993 - Suzuka 8 Hours 1994 - Bike Daisuki! it's also possible to run DSP1 games on Everdrive with a T-Connector and a DSP cart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJfzQetP7HA
i got the Zeldas works no luck with Shubibinman i should try Radical Dreamers and the Sutte Hakkuns soon
What Games Wont work on the Everdrive thats what I am tring to across here like an example will I be able to play games like Megaman X2 and Super mario RPG for an example I like a list of the games that dose not work with the Super Everdrive not that as the DSP chip I know what can do with that a list of games that wont work with the cart at all thats what I am trying to get at
Ok Radical Dreamers No Sutte Hakkuns *_* i do really want to play some of the Bs games (Shubibiman most) why they don't work ? they 're just downloaded games with no special chips usage...
I think its the fermwere usage as well Remeber the Emulator you play also emulates the Roms special Chip usage as well thats why in some games on Emulators wont work as well as they did in the console example Super Mario RPG
The problem is that the BS games required the Satellaview hardware. Requires modding of the rom to work without it. It's more of a rom problem than flash cart. I just haven't followed the BS games stuff much, so I didn't know what games were fixed at this point.
thats what I am trying to say most of the time certain games will work and others wont epically if you get an R4 Cart and if you try to play game that's use for the DSi like Sonic collection it wont work on a regular R4 you have to get the R4I Best thing to do at this point is to try to use the Firemwere on the DSP-1 Chip to try to emulate the special chips that other games uses I think
I can say unequivocally, that any game that used a special chip other than the DSP-1 will NOT work on the S.E.D. DSP-1 as others have said will work with it installed on the S.E.D., or using a lock-on cart like Tototek makes, with a DSP-1 retail game. There's no other possibilities for special chip games, sorry. There is however a project called sd2snes, from a couple of German guys, who are seeking to get ALL special chip games to work somehow with I think their FPGA solution. Basically their chip would emulate those special chips. Obviously this would be quite a task programming wise, and supposedly they will release the source for others to make boards. As for BS games, has anyone tried BS Zelda on the Everdrive? Someone just made a rom patch for BS Excitebike that works on the powerpak. Anyone tried with Everdrive? http://dforce3000.de/index.php?p=news&t=satellaview
BSX games that don't work may have various issues. One of which is unexpected behaviors due to missing hardware from the memory map since you aren't actually playing it on a BS-X. However a game like Shockman should run just fine. If it is having problems it is likely because the EverDrive, just like the PowerPAK, is having trouble dealing with the mangled embedded header. Modifying the header might get the game to load. I don't have a Super EverDrive though so I can't test this myself. Likewise BS-Zelda is probably the same issue if it doesn't load up.
I can verify that Satellaview headers are not compatible with the Super EverDrive. It just can't read them. Where the header's should be are just corrupt characters. Oh, I also want to point out that the Satellaview was not made by Bandai.
Hmm, the only two games worth playing on DPS1 are Pilotwings and Super Mario Kart and I both already have. For me having DSP1 on card does not make any sense.
I recently got my T-Connector and tried it with my Super Everdrive. I don't have Super Mario Kart, so I plugged Pilotwings into the connector. Pilotwings from the Super Everdrive loaded fine this way, but Super Mario Kart would not. Does anyone know if plugging in Super Mario Kart with the T-Connector provides better compatibility, or will the same issue occur (save that it would be Super Mario Kart that would load instead of Pilotwings)? If the T-Connector requires attaching the same game as the ROM used, the ability to connect with a DSP-1 game is lost on me.
