Games that Wont Work on Super Everdrive

I know its not an everdrive but those roms you fixed do not work on the snes powerpak.
Maybe i need to just get one.

 

The ROMs you mentioned, the BS-X ones, don't have a standard header. This causes issues with detection and loading the games. They do work on the PowerPAK if they work on the EverDrive and vice versa. Also you should update your PowerPAK to the latest version if you have one, it might help with loading those games.

 

I just got my powerpak for christmas so it should be up to date. I did install the new firmware update from a guy over on nesdev named ramsis so could that be why they are not working? But if it comes down to it ill keep the new firmware, its awesome

 

Maybe you should also edit the cart type. Try changing $FFD6 (for HIROM) or $7FD6 (for LOROM) to 01 or 00.
Well, I'm no real hacker, I just found a way to play it on my Super Everdrive. Before testing it on real hardware, I'm testing it on higan emulator. I am making a list of which games I am being able to play on my SNES, soon I will publish, with all my edited BS roms, to whom it may interest.

Using my "home-made" way of hex editing the BS-X rom, I was able to run a lot of BS-X games and BS magazines using my Super Everdrive. I tested every hacked BS-X rom in real hardware. If you have his firmware you are set. It's very nice. The the BS-X games that actually can work without the satellite service will work on the PowerPAK. It's just a matter of loading them properly which is sometimes an issue.

 

For some reason I cannot get 'Choujikuu Yousai Macross - Scrambled Valkyrie' to work, I have tried various roms, however all I am left with a blank screen.

 

I just ordered a Super EverdriveV2 so thanks so much for this!

the user Nibbler of snes-freaks.com request that the Game will not start at everdrive.

After several tries from my own, ikari fixed the game to run on Everdrive.

MD5SUM: e11c1d923ea1b2f6a00e5886aa6b6202 Choujikuu Yousai Macross - Scrambled Valkyrie (J).smc

Offset: x7FDC+x7FDD has currently 2bytes = FF. Change this bytes to 00 and save the rom.

The game should start on everdrive.
