Games you kept putting off getting even though you really wanted them

FINALLY got Final Fantasy VII Estarland had a copy and I nabbed it since Crisis core drove the price up on Amazon.

I hope it's a black label copy. it is however complete.

Also more exciting to me is that I finally got a PS1 game I got my PS2 for.

Who knew the of Square 10 years ago was capable of making a Shmup on par with Darius and Border Down?

And then you look at square now...and what they did to Slipheed (then again Slipheed wasn't that great to begin with)

 

Square didn't do anything to Silpheed except publish the new one. Game Arts still made it.


Anywho, I still haven't bought Karous, even though I want to check it out at some point, despite finding Milestone's games painfully mediocre.

 

I still haven't got God of War 2. Prices here in Brazil are pathetic. But since the Greatest Hits is now avaiable, i can get for a decent price.

 

Never got God Of War 1 or 2 despite how good I heard they were...
Never got Bully either...

So many games that I heard were good but never even played...

Oh, and Einhander is quite possibly one of my favorite games for the PS1. =]

 

Einhander is badass awesome. I still haven't bought it or any of the PS1 games I use to love, like Lunar and stuff.

I just got the limited edition of this the other day. Why the fuck did this game get perfect scores in reviews? It's good but it starts to get pretty damn tedious after awhile, almost to the point that I don't want to finish it. It's also got tons of elements from Prey and Condemned in it. Did nobody play either of those? I still like it, but I don't get why it's so heraulded. I also notice that for as many awards it recieved, nobody seems to mention it now.

If the constant yawnfest of dying/respawning x30 times every time you see a Big Daddy doesn't scare me off, that will be soon. Still a good game, I like the setting and stuff.

 

ICO, GoW1/2/PSP, GT4, SoC and some others for the PS2

 

RE3 and Klonoa for the PS1, Vampire Night, Ninja Assault (to finish my PS2 light gun selection) and Ico for PS2 and Blue Stinger for DC (rented it years ago and I just want to finish it).

I've finished both Bioshock and Prey (this one recently after not playing with it for months). Prey is just another standard FPS for me, (Turok vs the Stroggs) although I enjoyed what happened with the main char's girlfriend as I was expecting the typical rescue. I haven't played Condemned enough as I hate games so dark you have to guess what's happening in the screen (felt the same way with Doom 3). I know it's a gameplay mechanism, but I can't stand it.

Just try the shotgun's electric shells, I remember they worked quite well with Big Daddies.

 

I always wanted Gale Racer (sat) and Killer 7. I don't know why I haven't managed to track down a copy yet, they're both ass cheap.

 

Yeah, they do help. I've been using them more against BD's.

What I meant with Prey was the whole "never die" thing. I'm not saying it rips it off, but it's still similair. I liked Prey a lot because of the storyline, it was a cool game.

Condemned isn't really dark like Doom 3 is. I never had a problem seeing stuff. Aside from plasmids it plays a pretty good amount like Bioshock. You know the electric Plasmid? Well, Condemned has a taser that works the same way, so some of it is very similair. I like both though. I do like the Plasmids later in the game, it does mix the gameplay up pretty good.

After my failed launch model I just skipped the console for a couple years. Then I had the idea of getting one with the NA and HDloader to avoid the infamous loading times, but oh my luck! they just launched the PStwo and next week there were almost no fat PS2s left in my area, and the NA was already hard to find.

I never liked getting used systems (unless is rare stuff) so I guess I better get a PStwo, since PS2 emulation in PS3 isnt that great...

 

any of the god of wars, bioshock, still haven't played half life 2. I can go on.

 

There's always the 360 Bully...though I hear it had problems on some consoles.

 

Yeah I havent played god of war either, but did bioshock and every HL2 out there.

About bully, I saw the X360 and I'll rather get the Wii one.

And also the part when you need to make your buggy jump to get across that wall. IF i can survive the barn I'm stuck there too.

 

If you only have 9 left I'll say go to an earlier save and try to make that section (where you depleted your health) again, and this time be more careful.

With only 9 left a couple shots from any combine will kill you.
