Maybe its his only savegame? I know that problem very well

BTW I am stuck in the lighthouse where you have to take down that aircraft. I did not check how to use the rocket launcher (laugh at me) and haven't tried so far after people told me how to handle it.

What? you can select any chapter as long as you already played it.

For what he said I suppose hes somewhere in Highway 17, so I would recommend he play the chapter from the beginning again.

As for you ave, you're in the level with that colonel odessa right?

    Ah ok, thats one possibility.

I actually don't know how the level is called, but its set in a large coastal area with that lighthouse I have to defend. I am not really "stuck" as I now know how to handle the rocket launcher properly, I just haven't tried again.

HL2 really was a cool game. I didn't like HL1 much when it was out, but really did love HL2. Still need to do Episode 1 and 2.

episode 1 and 2 are awesome, too. you don't have The Orange Box? it's definitely worth picking up.

for me, i've wanted to buy Panzer Dragoon Saga for the longest time. But I've never been able to bring myself to buy it. Also Radiant Silvergun... Someday...

I'm waiting to get it on PC. I might just get Portal, but I think the Orange Box can be had for a pretty good price, so might as well get them all in one, even though I don't really want TF2.

Almost to the end of Bioshock...still sort of think this should have been a movie, as the gameplay is just annoying me. Also, for that scientist lady, couldn't they have used an original model instead of a splicer model? Thought that was weird.

Go get PDS now , or else.

If you liked Ikaruga then.. well then nothing, since Radiant Silvergun isn't really Ikaruga, it's the opposite - you ve got plenty of weapon choices and it lacks the simplicity of Ikaruga.

Many love it , but I think its OK - whereas Ikaruga is great.

However, you might want to get it since they are related in some ways.

I don't recall putting off many games that I really wanted unless I lacked funds or a way to get them.

Everything on my IGN wishlist is not exactly a "MUST HAVE RIGHT NOW OMFG" kind of game, and even though MGS4 is one of the few PS3 games I want, I haven't gotten a PS3 yet. Again its more of a lack of funds thing.

I can only think of a handful of games.

Tales of Destiny 1 (Can't find a decent used copy anywhere)
    Einhander (Basically the same)
Lunar CD (Don't own a Sega CD, and this crap is RARE)
    Lunar EB (Same as above)
Dark Wizard (Another really rare Sega CD game I was interested in)
Persona 1 (I never even saw this in stores)
Persona 2 (Didn't buy a NEW copy when I had the chance because I didn't have Persona 1)

As you might have noticed, many of these are PS1 games, and the Sega CD ones are mainly published by WD.

    Hmm...lets see...

Final Fantasy VII...I actually watched somebody play it when it came out...but never actually played it myself. Same applies to Metal Gear Solid...

Half Life 1...I got it when it came out on PC...and never finished it...can't even remember how far I got in it. I played Half Life 2 on XBOX last year (8 bucks at circuit city, yay) and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had video gaming ever. So epically huge and great.

I'm considering picking up Half Life for PS2, as I don't think I'm likely to play it on PC...and I just found myself with a PS2 for the first time ever. (10 bucks, thanks Craigslist!). On top of that...I need to play everything I missed on PS2.

Grand Theft Auto Series too...I picked them up...and am playing through them on PS2.

I just really need to play things I missed on Sony consoles...

...I've hit the issue though...that I generally have no idea what to play on PS2...and the issue that I every game I find used is horribly destroyed...grumble.

Seems you're in a bind. I've had good luck with used PS2 games. I got my PS2 a year ago.

i loved Crackdown. Really, really fun.

    @Barcode
the only thing keeping me from Radiant Silvergun is the price. Ikaruga and PDZ i can deal with but every Radiant Silvergun i've seen has been quite a bit. more than i'm willing to pay for one game. and a shooter no less.

just saying you should play the game at a friend's or your friend's ISO..or something just to see what it is. Purchasing it for collection purposes is a respectable reason enough.

    About Bioshock...
I don't know how ANYONE would enjoy that game using a controller as opposed to a keyboard/mouse setup. There is so much to see in that game that I would probably have missed had I used a controller.

I can understand how frustrating the early Big Daddies would be, since it would be incredibly hard to dodge their shots so you don't die so often.

Aaanyway. I've been meaning to get and play Psychonauts here for a while. And I've got a save about halfway through Hexen II I should finish. I also recently pulled out and completed American McGee's Alice. The ending sucked, but the game had neat atmosphere the rest of the game.

Oh yeah, another game I put off getting was most of the Grandia series. I'd have to get them on Ebay now, and I'm trying to save up for a PC.

Join the club: if it wasnt for my DC and GC I wouldnt have played any of last gen's big games.

I had a PS2 for like, 72 hours, and never bought an Xbox.

Lol, I did that with my Sonic Adventure when I was a kid cus it was All Stars and I wanted black.

I just beat Bioshock...awesome story, weird ending, but man, the story rocked. I think the gameplay was kind of bleh, but whatever.

On topic, just about every good PS2 game. There's a ton I want.
