gameshark with usb mod from nmemo

So I've been using my usb setup for a while and love it(though I realized today I need to do the voltage mod, my power supply is hot). I can't seem to get the gameshark to work though. I have it saving on the memory card fine(though I had an official gameshark one), I can't seem to get the codes to work. When am I supposed to use the door switch? I have tried flipping it in numerous spots but it never actually loads the cheats. The game starts like it's supposed to but then they don't work.

 

Are you using a gdi or hacked cdi?
You will need a hacked cdi that can save on the vmu

 

Hacked CDI. It saves because when I open it back up the codes I turned on are still there(I created a new name so it was on the top of the list as it saved time after about the 5th attempt). I also have the actual game shark memory card. Didn't work with that and a real dump either.

 

Are you selecting a swap image before loading the gameshark cdi?

 

Yup. When I hit the newly soldered lid switch it does reset to the game but the codes don't work.

 

Resets to the game? You mean the gameshark picks up the game and allows you to launch it from its menu? Or the DC resets to the bios menu?
