I have started going to Play N Trade recently. They give you their 10% off card for FREE, and they sell games going back to the 2600. I suggest going to one if there is one near you. http://playntrade.com/pnt_storeLocator.aspx
I think the Play N Trade near me went out of business, they had outrageous prices on anything that anyone would want to buy.
Their aren't any within 50 miles of me :-0 Here's the place I go to G2k Games <-- my favorite used game store ever! I just hope its not my store, I only have been to the Abingdon one, and the staff that works there is fantastic, I hope its the same at the others as well. -Disjaukifa
to bad they are a UK store " mega drive " on the game labels gave it away on there front page xD i wouldn't shop at a UK game store anyway damn VAT BS
there was some talk of a US VAT :-( and still is damn cali that would just kill the used game markets /off topic you guys in the UK have more to worry about then the VAT going up you got socialist students backed by the socialist unions ( democratic socialist's ) rioting in the streets / off topic
Value Added Tax what is that is somethings precived value and what is that manufacture suggested retail price apple sell the iphone unlocked for about $1500 then add 18-25% to that $250-300 so $1800 for an unlocked iphone https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Value_added_tax
Honestly, if you're shopping at a UK game store, VAT is hardly the problem. Not that you escape it in Florida anyway.
i meant more if i went to the store if i ever went to the UK or EU but yah shipping could easily be double or triple what i paid if i bought online
you think gamestop is bad; you guys should check these fuckers out. 40 bucks for a cart only version of Super Mario 3. 35 for Nintendo Tetris (not TENGEN Tetris, mind you). Gamestop used to have some expensive NES games (the last big one I bought was Megaman V for 20 bucks I think) but never batshit crazy like this. Yet, they had a good selection of Dreamcast games at decent prices (grabbed Illbleed CIB for 7 bucks and KOF Evo 99 CIB for 8 bucks) I was told that the reason this happens is because some PNTs are independently owned, so a manager can jack up the prices if he/she feels the need to, or simply wants to be an asshole about it.
Yeah, I got a complete PERFECT copy of Team Buddies at a Gamestop for like $8. This is a pretty rare game in the US (more common in EU/UK, I believe). I also picked up R4 + Jogcon in the box, just about perfect, for $15. I traded it for something stupid with a friend, I don't even remember what. MUCH REGRET.
P&T wanted 20 dollars for mario 3. a bunch of other gmaes though were like 2 dollars. Basically the on near me operates like this is it common and people want it? HIGH PRICE everything else? meh
i remember about 1 year ago i went to a flea market and found a genesis model 2 and sonic 2 the label was particly gone on sonic 2 and he wanted 30 for it and 30 for the genesis witch had water damage i told him to go play in traffic
