I was looking into some of the mods available for the Genesis\Megadrive, and I came across this at oshpark. https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/wsgnUwWk I saw a few post about it on here, but just wondering if anyone has actually used this. If so, how did it work out. Also any recommendations for the 4066N. I've seen them as cheap as a couple bucks for 50 no names from China to the name brand stuff like Motorola and TI for more. Any info or recommendations on this would be appreciated. Or are there better options for TMSS removal.
Try asking Helder - I came up with the original suggestion, and he laid out the board. I have no idea if it's actually been tried, although it (even going back and looking at it) seems like it should work.
I've implemented exactly the same logic within the Build-In game project. And it works If I were you, DeDnD, I would give it a try
Finally back in town. I defiantly like the built in game idea borti. Kind of a throwback to the bios games. After looking over the github info and everything else I could find, as far as wiring and soldering goes, It doesn't look like it would be any more work than the other board I was looking at. My only issue is programing the PLD. I've been kicking around the idea of getting a programmer anyways, what would you recommend. Besides the PLD, I might make a couple repros of some hard to find Genesis games but that would be about it.
