Can I flash my TSOP with Gentoox 6.07? This motherboard is a 128 RAM motherboard and it has a winbond TSOP. But I was wondering If I can flash that to any TSOP at all? I have not tried it but I do not see why it would not work. Also if I want to flash a normal bios after that I should be able to just use that Gentoox that is on the TSOP to reflash the TSOP again right?

I know that the solder points must be enabled already. I just solder them 1 time and never remove the solder so whenever I need to flash the TSOP I can.

Flash with EVOX for a TSOP. Most simple, yet effective. Just make sure you know what size TSOP you have, and not flash a bios larger than the TSOP capacity. If you have a large TSOP, you can pretty much use any non-locked bios on it. EVOX will resize it for you,

I want to flash Gentoox to the TSOP as the bios. This way when I disable the mod chip I can have it load to gentoox. But I wanted to know if I have gentoox to the TSOP can I use it later on to write a bios over itself. Or does it not allow you to write over itself?

I know that is how flash bios 3.03 works. If it is on a bank you can use it to write over itself. But gentoox is not just a bios flash program and is much more complex.

It should allow you to write any bios to the Tsop, it won't resize (ie flash the same bios to make 1024kb) the bios so you need to make sure its a 1mb for 1.0/1.1 or a 256 for the rest.

all you need to do is put a bios.bin in C:\Bios\ or on the root of a disc to flash the Tsop using gentoox. (Can also do it over a network but not sure how that works)

The TSOP is a 256k winbond on a 1.2 motherboard. I wanted to load the Gentoox 256.bin. I tested it on a modchip and it works fine. I was just afraid that once I had it loaded to the TSOP that I can't flash another bios over it.
