Hehe, true story. In Brazil you could simply destroy your electric equipment because there are hotels (and houses!) that have both 127 and 220V power sockets, and are both equal. But that 3 pin standard is not standard at all, most people use adapters to use modern brazilian apparels in those more normal sockets. Crazy country.
There's a copy of Go net currently on ebay (loose unfortunately) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAPANESE-...ideo_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item2325f9cbac
Do you know why it says SEGA 1989? Has there been a Go-Game that was released in '89 and this is based on it?
So, Go net was ONLY mail order. So UNRELEASED soft? Can we say UNRELEASED? Was TETRIS a RELEASED title? Thanks.
If something is mailorder, it's released. It was for public sale - unreleased would be if you had to win it in a competition or as a prize. I think whether or not Tetris was for sale is not certain. Maybe it was for sale in shops for a very brief time (as in: a regular consumer could buy it for money) or there was only some employee who saved a couple of copies from a factory before it got recalled.
Hey guys I've seen that the copy of Go Net that appeared on yahoo auction as been discussed on this messageboard recently. I'm the guy who bought it and I thought I would talk about it a bit. In my quest to get that game, I've been in contact with someone who worked at AI System during the 90's (and still does now). He told me that the server obviously doesn't work anymore (so the game is not playable online anymore, unlike Cyberball) and that their is a copy of the game nicely exposed in their office (which is not for sale). The manual is similar to Sansan in its content, with pictures of MD linked to modem etc...
