See my problem with this though, is that you can pretty much kill someone with any object. You can beat someone to death with a golf club. You can crack someone's skull with a ciderblock. You can electrocute someone with a car battery. You can sharpen a DVD and fling it like a flying razor sharp disc of death. You can shove a rotten burrito up someone's ass and kill them with some funky Mexican food disease. You can poison someones fruit salad with Draino. Theres a million different ways to kill people with a million different objects but we don't ban any of those. You can beat someone to death with a baseball bat, but we don't ban baseball. You can run someone over with an ice cream truck but we don't make fudgesickles illegal. You don't need a permit to carry a chainsaw around with you, or a screwdriver, or a really big wrench. You can just pick up a big ass rock and stone someone to death, but we don't make rocks illegal. I mean sure I see it's a tragedy when some kid shoots up his highschool with his daddy's gun, but that's not Call of Duty's fault. What about the 10 million other kids out there playing that game that didn't go shoot up thier schools? Who's fault is it really? It's not the game's fault. Maybe certain people shouldn't have guns, I can agree with that too. Then the kid'll probably just try to burn the school down instead. So do we then outlaw gasoline? You see my point?
----SNIP---- That's not the issue though. The statement is why the gun was made in the first place. While the topic might be going off a bit on a tangent, it is the truth. I never said it was. I just said 7 year old shouldn't be playing games like that. I wouldn't show a 7 year old a movie where the blow the tits off of everything. I don't see why games are any different. Decensitization is a very real thing, and eventually a line will be crossed. Of course, the opposite case holds true as well: shield your child too much and they rebell. All things in moderation, I guess, but I won't expose my son to violence when he's 7. I'm not some holier than thou. I think guns are fucking retarded but since I'm such a proponent of legalizing at least marijuana, saying guns should be banned would make me a complete hypocrite. But, I am still a firm believer that the average joe blow is moronic enough that he shouldn't pass the screening test.

It's a delicious way to die, kinda hurts though...
