I think it's more Nintendo refuses to listen to what it's users want and they live in a bubble rather than ambition to maintain it's core fanbase and draw in new ones, bring back old fans that left after SNES for Playstation. They don't promote their new IPs either if they even have any.

It's good they annouced a new Chibi Robo, Bad it's for 3DS

It's like I've been saying for a while now: if you want good new Nintendo games, get a 3DS. At the moment there's really nothing on the Wii U that's worth getting one for.

Don't get too excited, it's just a downloadable augmented reality game that uses the Chibi-Robo character. Which is a shame...

I miss creative Nintendo games. I never Had Odama but battle drum driven voice command RTS....PINBALL. GENIUS! Chibi Robo was wonderful too. Wouldn't know those games existed though unless you were a Nintendo fan though cuz lord knows Nintendo did jack and shit to promote them. It's like they want to fail and at the same time still make truck loads of money.

 

I find your incessant whining about Nintendo not promoting their more niche titles a bit amusing. Remind me again how often Sega advertised their more niche titles. Or how MS or Sony advertise their niche titles.


Look, it isn't hard to stay on top of the games coming out. God forbid you take a moment to look around the internet to see what games there are.

 

At least everyone else used You Tube to promote those games. Nintendo does NOTHING. You think Nintendo would make Ocotodad known to the masses if they published it/made it?

Look at their history. the NES Days for one. I also understand they have very high License fees but I have no source on that.

I don't hate Nintendo for the record but They just make SO many bone headed decisions.
