"Look at their history" isn't a specific point. The "NES Days" is so long ago that it isn't really relevant now. But yes we all know Nintendo was very strong armed back in those days. What else do you have? Maybe something still relevant today? One reason you might perceive that Nintendo and 3rd parties don't get along might be because their hardware isn't geared toward the games on the other two platforms and often gets left out. The only other argument I can think of is that Nintendo platform's best selling games are generally 1st party titles and thus Nintendo is stiff competition for any 3rd party. Unlike Sony and Microsoft that do have their own studios but they certainly don't dominate their platforms in the same way Nintendo does.

That was a good thing anyway, part of the reason for the 83 crash was the market being saturated with pure crap because anybody could make 2600 carts.

 

Nintendo really has to get rid of region locking and put more effort into the online experience.
That's all I'm requesting right now.

*Fun fact: Nintendo intentionally backed away from releasing much early in the Wii U's life partly so third parties might actually be able to sell their games on the system... and we see how that worked out.*

And for good reason, the wii u isnt as powerful as the ps3 or xbox 360, and it has a 6-7 year technology advantage. and it has a wii u pad which is new for developers.
