Shame they have decided to use AA batteries and not Lith-Ion. And I hope the game support is better for this one than the 32 as well.

Is this the GP32's successor? If so, it's looking good :).

But the real question (at least for me) is is it backwords compatible with the GP32?

This system looks very, VERY impressive.

I guess we'll have to wait for more info, though, on whether emulation actually works on it, and... well, if it really DOES come out. I've seen too many good consoles go vapour, at least in terms of portables.

It does look insanely sweet, though.

Emulation will be fine on it ! This is from the official site !!

    "Enjoy Games with GPX2 now!
CPU which has 2D accelerator enables you enjoy games anytime anywhere. Meet the exclusive GPX2 games along with abundant emulators such as MAME, SNES, Genesis, PC Engine etc "

Very odd how they support emulation :p

Yep, they're going to get sued by a lot of gaming companies, as many as they named...

For a 100% perfect EMU compatable machine of anything up to Neo Geo I'd pay a nice 15'000 yen ! I don't need original games as long as EMU is fine. I just recently bought two 512 MB SD cards as well for my phone so that I can watch movies and listen to music on the move so I could use the ither in this machine :)

they said it would be alot cheaper than the gp32 blue, which is about 200euros? "correct me if i am wrong" so 150/200 is doable.

Hmm, I may think about getting one. I mostly game on the move using my phone (really in to Valis at the moment) since portable consoles just don't do anything for me but if the GPX2 is movie, MP3 and emulation compatable then it may just steal my phones place thanks to the bigger screen :)

i dont think we'll see them get sued as much as you think, of course, game park will just say that they support the emulators and open source roms only......i wonder if the linux its running is anything like redhat, or knoppix....that would be awesome.......is their anything about a north american release, every time i go to the site is screws up my ie...
