No offense but stop talking about stuff you clearly know nothing of, and exaggerating whilst you're at it.
Indeed a quick 10 minute read of some of the better pages on the interweb would show that Greece had a military junta from 1967 to 1974 who were quite right wing and tended to tourture suspected communists...
Barc0de: while we are talking about history , it is weird how Denmark pops up, since the Danish royal family, and the former Greek royal family are closely related.
This is what I would call a necessary "evil". If the military in my country had done the same a number of years ago, we wouldn't have this PSEUDO_HUMAN as a president. On another note, my italian professor, who also happens to be an economist, believes that the problem in Europe will only get worse, mainly due to the fact that most european countries are slow to change their economic policy, specially regarding public spenditure. He also mentioned that some countries are rallying their people to sign petitions to abandon the Euro as currency. As an economist, its really silly to try to maintain the argument that countries as dissimile as Greece and Germany should have the same currency at the same rate. It's just bonkers.
People talk about abandoning the euro but that is pretty much impossible if you look at how intertwined all the countries are really..
It's going to happen, it's like having a communal keg of beer and someone keeps emptying it and expects the others to refill it no matter how much they use.
Our financial system as it stands in the world today is bound to crash anyway, with or without Greece. It is this "gimme the world plus five per cent" mentality that just doesn't work. Never has, never will. Not Greece's fault, really.
All we need to do is find the richest 100 people in the world (with the Sunday Times Rich list that shouldn't be hard), round them all up, shoot them, get all the senior staff members of the 100 biggest companies of the world and shoot them too (find George W Bush too and shoot him for fun) and then redistrubute the wealth in a way that the least corrupt countries get more money and the richest and the most corrupt get none and the world's problems are solved.
Might as well define "corrupt" while you're at it. Since you're not American I'm sure you'd place the US at the top of the list, but the fact is the most corrupt countries are often the poorest (many in Africa for example). Your awesome plan would fuck them and give the money to a country with more money.
